A track maintenance machine for carrying out track position corrections includes a machine frame movable by on-track undercarriages on rails of a track and a track position measuring system having two outer measuring devices and a central measuring device with a common reference base, relative to a longitudinal direction of the machine. The measuring devices are defined in their position relative to the rails. Two mutually aligned measuring chords are tensioned or stretched as a reference base between the outer measuring devices. The central measuring device includes a measuring transducer for detecting position data of the two measuring chords. The position data are fed to an evaluation device in order to determine a longitudinal level for each rail and a versine. Thus, two measuring chords are sufficient to detect all of the track parameters. A method for operation of a track maintenance machine is also provided.

The railway anchor manipulator may be slidably coupled with a frame assembly of a railway workhead, and may include anchor tools. The railway fastener installer may be slidably coupled with the main shaft structure, may include a hammer assembly, and may be operable to install railway fasteners through holes of a railway tie plate. The railway fastener installer may be caused to install the railway fasteners. The railway anchor manipulator may be lowered to a deployed position, and railway anchors may be adjusted with the anchor tools.

ADAPTIVE RAILWAY FASTENER AND ANCHOR INSTALLATION SYSTEM

Systems, methods, and machine-readable media to facilitate installation and adjustment of railway components are disclosed. The inspection data includes current features of a plurality of railroad components along the railroad track. The method includes using one or more processors, comparing and correlating the current features of the plurality of railroad components with the previous features of the assets to determine which of the plurality of railroad components corresponds with the plurality of assets.
