Asphalt composition
The present invention relates to an asphalt composition which is excellent in storage stability at a high temperature, an asphalt mixture, a method for producing the same, and a road paving method. Provided are [1] an asphalt composition containing asphalt, a polyester resin, and a dispersant; [2] an asphalt mixture containing the asphalt composition as set forth above in [1] and an aggregate; [3] a road paving method including a step of laying the asphalt mixture as set forth above in [2], thereby forming an asphalt paving material layer; and [4] a method for producing an asphalt mixture including mixing asphalt, a polyester resin, a dispersant, and an aggregate at 130° C. or higher and 200° C. or lower.

MIXTURES OF BITUMEN AND POLYMER COMPOSITIONS
A mixture made from or containing T1) from 99 wt % to 75 wt % of bitumen, and T2) from 1 wt % to 25 wt % of a polymer composition made from or containing A) 5-35% by weight of a propylene ethylene copolymer; B) 20-50% by weight of an ethylene homopolymer; and C) 30-60% by weight of a terpolymer of ethylene, propylene and 1-butene derived units.
HIGH-GRADE ASPHALT COMPOSITION HAVING WATERPROOF FUNCTION AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD USING THE SAME
A high-grade asphalt composition includes 100 parts by weight of asphalt; 40-80 parts by weight of styrene-isoprene-styrene; 20-60 parts by weight of a polymer resin; 10-50 parts by weight of an anti-rutting agent; 2-15 parts by weight of a filler; 5-30 parts by weight of ceramic nanoparticles; 5-10 parts by weight of a binder; 3-15 parts by weight of an antioxidant; 1-10 parts by weight of a stabilizer; 5-20 parts by weight of a fiber; and 2-20 parts by weight of an adhesion promoter. A construction method is provided using the asphalt composition. The present asphalt composition is not easily rutted, aged and/or stripped. At the same time, the present asphalt can prevent water penetration and potholes, can reduce noise, and enable the roads to be paved at low costs.
Paving binder
A paving binder according to the present invention is used for a paving mixture for forming a pavement, including a polyamide resin having a weight average molecular weight, as measured by gel permeation chromatography of 2,000 or more and 10,000 or less and having an area, corresponding to a component having a molecular weight of 20,000 or more and 500,000 or less, of 0.5% or more and 12% or less of a total area in a chromatogram of molecular weight distribution as measured by gel permeation chromatography. Thus, tolerance for a severe temperature condition or loading condition can be improved, while ensuring convenience from the standpoint of laying such that the laying can be made by the conventional machine composition or laying system.
Paving binder
A paving binder according to the present invention is used for a paving mixture for forming a pavement, including a polyamide resin having a weight average molecular weight, as measured by gel permeation chromatography of 2,000 or more and 10,000 or less and having an area, corresponding to a component having a molecular weight of 20,000 or more and 500,000 or less, of 0.5% or more and 12% or less of a total area in a chromatogram of molecular weight distribution as measured by gel permeation chromatography. Thus, tolerance for a severe temperature condition or loading condition can be improved, while ensuring convenience from the standpoint of laying such that the laying can be made by the conventional machine composition or laying system.
FULL-DEPTH ULTRA-THIN LONG-LIFE PAVEMENT STRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF
A full-depth ultra-thin long-life pavement structure and a construction method thereof are disclosured. The pavement structure is disposed on a subgrade, and the pavement includes from bottom to top: a composite joint layer, a fatigue-resistant layer, a load-bearing layer, a high-strength bonding layer and a skid-resistant wearing layer; the composite joint layer comprises a bottom layer and an upper layer, the bottom layer is a graded gravel layer, and the upper layer is an open-graded large-particle-size water-permeable polyurethane and gravel mixture layer; the fatigue-resistant layer is paved by a skeleton-interlocking structural polyurethane mixture; the load-bearing layer is paved by a suspended-dense typed polyurethane mixture; the high-strength bonding layer is formed by curing a polyurethane-based composite material; the skid-resistant wearing layer is paved by a high-viscosity and high-elasticity modified asphalt mixture.
Road surfacing system
The present invention relates to a road surfacing system, in particular an asphalt road, which comprises at least one main layer which is at least partially and at least in places permeable to liquids and gases for absorbing compressive and shear forces generated on the main layer by load bodies, for example vehicles, travelling and/or standing on the main layer, wherein the main layer is arranged on a drainage layer through which liquids and/or gases can flow, and further where-in the drainage layer is again arranged on top of a drainage layer which is arranged and intended to at least partially drain liquids from the road surfacing system passing through the main and drainage layers, characterized in that the main layer is substantially free from aggregates and instead is formed with adhering ball elements formed with a plastic and/or a metal.
Road surfacing system

Aragonite Uses
Compositions, methods, and uses of calcium carbonate-based composition are presented. The calcium carbonate-based composition includes a plurality of restructured calcium carbonate particles that has an average size of equal or less than 10 microns in diameter. Preferably, the calcium carbonate-based composition is generated by unstructuring the aragonite using an acid and a chelator and recrystallizing the unstructured aragonite in a customized form. Exemplary aragonite-based compositions include pavement compositions.
