Industrial support mat interlock device
An interlocking joint device and method of using same, configured to adapt to and integrate with most existing industrial access matting products to create within those matting products an overlapping lip configuration that: (1) interlocks the pre-existing individual mats together; (2) protects the perimeter of the mat from excessive wear and damage to improve performance and versatility; and (3) provides a serviceable and/or replaceable part that creates an inexpensive alternative to replacing entire matting products.
Building System
A building system comprising of a plurality of panels wherein the building system is configured to be either superposed an existing structure or a ground surface. The plurality of panels of the building system are shaped so as to be mateable when place adjacent to each other. The panels include a bottom and walls that form an interior volume. The bottom and walls of the panels are manufactured from a thermally conductive material such as but not limited to metal. The interior volume of the panels are filled with a lightweight structural material such as but not limited to polyurethane foam or autoclaved concrete. A first temperature source is disposed within the panels and is configured to have a fluid pass therethrough. A second temperature source is present and is a heating element. The panels are operable to utilize either temperature sources.
BRIDGE DECKING AND INSTALLATION
A pre-fabricated deck panel includes a plurality of corrugations extending transversely along a length, and a pre-fabricated end dam on at least one end of the panel. The end dam extends to a height of the corrugations. The panel may further include at least one pre-fabricated side edge dam on at least one side of the panel. The side edge dam extends to height above the corrugations.
CRAWLER BRIDGE
A crawler bridge (10) having a bridge section (12) for bridging across opposite sides of a gap G. The bridge section (12) being connected to a support structure (14) which has a pair of elongate beams (16,17), that are spaced apart and generally parallel. The beams (16,17) each including leading and trailing feet (18,19). The bridge section (12) is attached to the beams (16,17) for relative movement forward and backward along the beams (16,17) and vertically up and down. The crawler bridge (10) has a first mode of operation when the leading and trailing feet 18,19 of the beams (16,17) are in engagement with a ground surface, in which the bridge section (12) is supported by the support structure (14) elevated above the ground surface and is movable forward and backward along the beams (16,17) and vertically up and down. The crawler bridge (10) has a second mode of operation when the bridge section (12) has been moved downward relative to the beams (16,17) and into engagement with a supporting surface, in which the leading and trailing feet (18,19) of the beams (16,17) are lifted away from the supporting surface and the beams (16,17) are movable forward and backward relative to the bridge section (12) and vertically up and down relative to the bridge section (12).
ROAD PLATE TAPER SYSTEM AND METHOD
The invention provides a road plate taper system and method of providing a gradual incline to the approach of a road plate that is installed upon a road. The invention replaces the use of costly, environmentally harmful cold mix asphalt as a means of providing a gradual incline to the approach of a road plate. The road plate taper system incorporates taper members that couple to the edges of a road plate such that the weight of the road plate and the friction bearing surface of the taper members secures the road plate to the surface of a road.
TRESTLE MAT CONSTRUCTION PANEL CONFIGURED FOR USE WITH BUILDING EQUIPMENT AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURE AND/OR USE THEREOF
A trestle mat construction panel configured for use with building equipment and a method of manufacture and use thereof. The trestle mat construction panel is preferably formed of a partially hollow core body and strong support material to allow the construction panel to be easily placed and moved and to support various materials, such as construction equipment including cranes and the like, when in use.

DEVICE FOR FORMING A LEVEL CROSSING
The invention relates to a device for setting up a level crossing for crossing a track section having two rails, comprising at least one intermediate-rail moulding, arranged between the two rails, at least one first and one second moulding outside the rail, which adjoin the outside of the first and the second rails, respectively, at least one cross bore through the rail web of at least one of the two rails in the region of one of the adjacent mouldings, and at least one fastener, which extends through the cross bore in the rail web of the track, wherein at least one of the mouldings can be detachably fastened to the rail through the cross bore by means of the fastener.
Phase transforming cellular matrix (PXCM) based tile design for a lightweight runway mat
A flexible runway mat system, including a plurality of base platforms, each respective base platform having a first pattern of phase transforming columns and voids extending from a respective flat member, and a plurality of plane-engaging runway platforms, each respective plane-engaging runway platform having a second, reversed pattern of phase transforming columns and voids extending from a respective flat member such that each respective plane-engaging runway platform is lockingly engagable to a respective base platform to yield a landing segment with parallel top and bottom flat members. Each respective phase transforming column is further comprised of a plurality of stacked operationally connected phase transforming cellular members. Each respective phase transforming cellular member can shift from a first stable configuration to a second stable configuration in response to an applied load.
Temporary walkway
A temporary walkway used in construction areas to allow access to a building before the concrete sidewalk is installed. The temporary walkway has plank sections made up of a panel and a leading and a trailing edge. The leading edge is configured to lock into the trailing edge of an adjacent plank to create a large walk way. The Planks remain locked throughout an upward and downward angle of rotation to account for variance in the terrain.
