PENETRATING PRIME EMULSION
A bituminous emulsion that is capable of being used as a penetrating prime emulsion. The penetrating prime emulsion may be capable of penetrating compacted soil without the use of solvent, and may toughen quickly to allow early application of a paved layer on the surface. The bituminous emulsion may comprise bituminous material and an emulsifier comprising octylphenol ethoxylates, and optionally further comprising tallow diamine betaines or other betaines.

Process for cold-in-place recycling using foamed asphalt and lubrication additive
Cold-in-place asphalt recycling is disclosed. A foamed asphalt may be produced by injecting water and optionally compressed air into a hot asphalt stream. A lubricating surfactant may be added to the hot asphalt stream to improve performance. The foamed asphalt may be mixed with reclaimed material to provide a uniformly coated paving material that can compacted to a desired density.

A multi-component composition comprising a first component including water, and a second component including at least one hydraulic binder, wherein the multi-component composition includes a copolymer CP, wherein the copolymer is a vinyl versatate copolymer CPA, and/or a copolymer based on styrene and (meth) acrylic acid esters CPB. The amount of hydraulic binder, based on the total weight of the multi-component composition, is from 25-65 weight-%. The multi-component composition is especially suitable as a flooring material for industrial floors and car parks.

A method and apparatus for distributing a liquid substance to a surface for purposes of creating an overlay to a repair or reinforce and enhance the physical properties of the surface. The invention may include a system having a pair of holding tanks for holding a resin and a hardener, a pair of fluid pumps, a manifold, a mixing chamber and an aggregate hopper. An overlay substance may be formed by the system by mixing the resin and hardener, and the substance may be dispensed through a linear distribution apparatus onto a surface in need of repair or improvement.
Asphalt reclaimer with top heating lid
Portable asphalt reclaimer having a pivotable lid with an integral heating element, and an asphalt holding chamber containing a grate. Asphalt may be reclaimed by placing asphalt chunks on the grate, heating them from above using the heating element in the lid until asphalt falls through the holes in the grate. The asphalt may be removed through a lower door. The pivotable lid may be detachable to separately heat the ground surface to which asphalt is to be applied.
