MACHINE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RESURFACING EXISTING ROADS USING PREMIXED STRESS ABSORBING MEMBRANE INTERLAYER (SAMI) MATERIAL
A machine for resurface existing roads is disclosed. The machine may include a premixed stress absorbing membrane interlayer (SAMI) material distribution component configured to distribute a premixed SAMI material on an existing road. The distributed premixed SAMI material may include a mixture and/or combination of binding material and pre-cut fiber material. The machine may also include a channel positioned adjacent and downstream of the premixed SAMI material distribution component. The channel may be configured to supply an asphalt mixture directly over the premixed SAMI material. Additionally, the machine may include a screed positioned adjacent the channel The screed may be positioned to contact the asphalt mixture.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MODIFYING AND REPAVING PAVED SURFACES
An ultrathin bonded asphalt surface (UBAS) system and method for resurfacing paved asphalt surfaces, particularly local, collector and residential streets in residential neighborhoods, including cul-de-sacs and roundabouts. The asphalt surface can be prepared with a milling machine. A spray paver applies emulsion bonding liquid (EBL) to the prepared asphalt surface at a predetermined shot rate. Aggregate material is discharged from the spray paver onto the EBL. The system is utilized in performing a UBAS resurfacing method according to the present invention.

Systems and methods for automating the application of friction-modifying coatings
A system and method for the application of friction-modifying coatings to roadways, walkways, pathways and other areas subject to vehicular, human or animal traffic, the system and method comprising the controlled, simultaneous application of binder and filler to a surface of a substrate, using a mobile device which passes over the substrate as the binder and filler are being applied. The system includes a frame coupled to a vehicle. A spray bar is mounted on the frame and includes an array of spray nozzles coupled to a resin container. An air knife is mounted on the frame and coupled to an air compressor for generating an air curtain. An aggregate dispenser bar including at least one aggregate dispenser is coupled to an aggregate bin and mounted on the frame for dispensing aggregate.

MULTILAYER COATING AND PROCESS OF PREPARING THE MULTILAYER COATING
A multilayer coating comprising a primer coat layer, one or more elastic layer and a top coat layer and having good mechanical properties, and a method of preparing the multilayer coating.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SPREADING CHIPS ON ROADWAY
A modified chip spreader is adapted to be used in a chip sealing train including a chip supply dump truck and an asphalt composition supply truck. The modified chip spreader is a self-propelled vehicle that has a receiving hopper on its front end for receiving stone chips from the chip supply dump truck, a spreader assembly on its rear end and a conveyor assembly for conveying the stone chips from the receiving hopper to the spreader assembly. The modified chip spreader also includes a spray assembly that is in fluid communication with an outlet line from the asphalt composition supply truck, which spray assembly is adapted to dispense an asphalt composition onto the surface of a roadway in front of the spreader assembly. The spreader assembly dispenses the stone chips onto the newly applied asphalt composition on the surface of the roadway.
