10946410 · 2021-03-16 ·

A particulate-incorporating attachment for a drop spreader is provided that includes a two-portion mount bracket, an implement holder, and a rake/brush and optionally includes wheels. The bracket portions are connected to form a mount bracket over the rest brace of the drop spreader. The mount bracket mounts the implement holder, which supports the rake/brush in a suitable position to assist in the incorporation of infill material into the space between the grass tufts of synthetic turf or to assist in the incorporation of other dropped particulates into synthetic or natural turf or onto the ground.

AUTOWIDTH INPUT FOR PAVING OPERATIONS

A paving machine is disclosed. The paving machine may include a frame, a screed, sensor devices, and a control unit. The screed may include a main section, a first extension, and a second extension. The sensor devices may output a first sensor signal corresponding to a position of the first extension and a second sensor signal corresponding to a position of the second extension. The control unit may receive the first and second sensor signals, determine a screed width based on the first and second sensor signals, receive location data corresponding to a location of the paving machine, determine locations of the first and second extensions based on the screed width and the location data, generate a boundary map based on the locations of the first and second extensions, and cause an action to be performed based on the boundary map.

Various embodiments for a median barrier finishing machine are described. A median barrier finishing machine may include a housing configured to encapsulate at least a portion of a median barrier, where the housing comprises a first vertical wall, a second vertical wall, and a horizontal wall. The median barrier finishing machine may include at least one adjustable member configured to couple the housing to the vehicle and retain the housing a predetermined distance relative to the vehicle while the vehicle is in motion. Further, the median barrier finishing machine may include at least one finishing device disposed within the housing, where the at least one finishing device is configured to contact a surface of a median barrier at least partially positioned within the housing and treat the surface as the vehicle moves the housing along a length of the median barrier.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR A HOLD-DOWN ASSEMBLY
20200095737 · 2020-03-26 · ·

A heating element hold-down assembly having a heating element adapted to be removably mounted on the screed and a hold-down mechanism adapted to be removably mounted on the screed. The hold-down mechanism comprises a hold-down mechanism frame adapted to contact the heating element, a resilient device adapted to move between an expanded position and a contracted position, a tension shaft, a portion of which is adapted to contact the resilient device, a pin adapted to removably attach the tension shaft to the hold-down mechanism frame, and an adjustment means adapted to be adjustably connected to the screed frame so as to contact the tension shaft. The hold-down mechanism is adapted to maintain contact between the heating element and the screed plate when the screed moves, flexes, or is adjusted.

Depth guide for paving machine
