RECLAIMER HAVING A DRUM CHAMBER DOOR CONTROL SYSTEM
A reclaimer has a frame and a plurality of wheels connected to the frame. The reclaimer has a drum chamber connected to the frame and including movable door. The reclaimer has a milling drum positioned within the drum chamber. The milling drum engages with a ground surface. The reclaimer has an engine that rotates the milling drum and propels the wheels such that material exits the drum chamber from under the movable door. Further, the reclaimer has a controller that determines a position of the movable door based on at least one of a machine characteristic and a predetermined gradation for the material exiting from the drum chamber, and selectively adjusts an actuator associated with the movable door based on the determined position.
Working combination encompassing an earth working machine and a further vehicle, and an automatic spacing monitoring system
A system is provided for monitoring spacing during working operation between a first vehicle and at least one further self-propelled vehicle. A beam source is on one vehicle (source vehicle). A sensor arrangement on another vehicle (target vehicle) extends along a sensor axis. In a predetermined reference state, with the vehicles having a predetermined reference spacing apart, the beam source radiates toward the target vehicle electromagnetic radiation such that a predetermined sensor-axial reference detection region on the sensor arrangement is irradiated by the beam source. A change in the vehicle spacing results in a change, along the sensor axis, in the position of the detection region on the irradiated sensor arrangement, and thus in a change in the detection state of the sensor arrangement. Based on the detection state which depends on an actual spacing of the source and target vehicles, a spacing signal is generated with vehicle spacing information.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF TREATING SOIL
Apparatus and method of treating soil. The apparatus is a movable vehicle having a blade device for removing the soil. The removed soil is transferred into a loading space in which the soil is homogenized. One or more binders are mixed to the soil, after which it is taken back to ground by a spreading device. Stabilization of the soil is thus carried out in the movable apparatus.
ASPHALT PAVING DEVICE
The invention disclosed herein pertains to a device for repaving an existing asphalt surface, specifically a road surface. The device enables continuous uninterrupted excavation and removal of old road paving material. Said device further extracts the excavated material for milling into smaller evenly sized aggregate material that is sorted through by size, retreated under heated conditions with the addition of hot oil, and further homogenized for even size, density, and saturation before being relayed over the extracted surface.
Self-propelled construction machine and method for operating a self-propelled construction machine
A self-propelled construction machine, having a milling drum housing having a sealing device which has a sealing element arranged in the working direction of the construction machine behind the milling drum, an adjustment device for adjusting the height position of the sealing element, and a controller for controlling the adjustment device of the sealing element. The sealing device has a scraper element, which is pivotably arranged on the sealing element such that the scraper element rests on the milled material and is pivoted in relation to the milling drum on the basis of the height of the milled material. The height position of the sealing element is adjusted on the basis of the pivot position of the scraper element.
Self-propelled milling machine, as well as method for controlling a self-propelled milling machine
A self-propelled construction machine for milling a ground surface is provided with a machine frame, a working drum, and a transport conveyor with a discharge end from which worked-off milling material is dischargeable onto a point of impingement on a loading surface of a transport vehicle, wherein the transport conveyor is laterally slewable to a slewing angle about at least a first slewing axis. A controller is configured, during an initialization process, to specify a command variable within a coordinate system, the coordinate system being stored during the initialization process with its origin at a starting point associated with the machine. The controller is further configured during a working process, wherein the coordinate system is stationary, to automatically control the slewing angle corresponding to detected changes in position and/or orientation of the machine and relative to the command variable.

In a self-propelled construction machine (1), in particular road milling machine, stabilizer, recycler or surface miner, comprising a machine frame (2), and at least one working device (6), in particular milling drum, which is arranged in a housing (4) open towards the bottom that is at least partially closed on at least one side by at least one edge protector (8) height-adjustable relative to the machine frame (2), wherein, for the purpose of height adjustment, at least one first lifting device (10) is provided, the first end (15) of which is connected to the machine frame (2), and the second end (16) of which is connected to the height-adjustable edge protector (8), it is provided for the following features to be achieved: a second lifting device (12) is provided, the first end (18) of which is connected to the machine frame (2), and the second end (20) of which is connected to a first end (22) of a transmission device (14), which is in turn connected, with a second end (24), to the height-adjustable edge protector (8).
Apparatus and method for preparing asphalt and aggregate mixture
An asphalt and aggregate mixture and methods for preparing and using same are provided which utilize solid phase auto regenerative cohesion and homogenization by liquid asphalt oligopolymerization technologies. The mixtures are suitable for use in installing asphalt/concrete pavement, repairing asphalt/concrete pavement, and providing overlays to existing asphalt/concrete pavement. The slurries can contain recycled asphalt/concrete pavement subject to treatment.
System and method for cold planer control
A method includes receiving information indicative of a cold planer travel path extending along a work surface, determining a mobile machine travel path extending along the work surface based at least partly on the information indicative of the cold planer travel path, and receiving sensor information associated with the work surface, wherein the sensor information is determined by at least one sensor of an autonomous mobile machine as the autonomous mobile machine traverses the mobile machine travel path. The method also includes generating a worksite map based at least partly on the sensor information, the worksite map identifying an object, wherein the object is disposed at least partly beneath a cut area to be formed by a cold planer, and controlling a position of a rotor of the cold planer, relative to the work surface and based at least partly on a location of the object identified in the worksite map.
Machine, system, and method for controlling rotor depth
A milling machine, system, and method for adjusting a rotor cutting height adjusts the rotor cutting height to a target cutting height responsive to a control input received at an operator control interface. One or more legs of the milling machine and/or a height of the rotor can be adjusted to adjust the rotor cutting height to the target cutting height. The rotor cutting height can be adjusted based on data from one or more sensors. Each sensor may be a sonic sensor or an image capturing sensor.
