Determination of the screed configuration in road pavers
A method for determining a configuration of a paving screed out of several possible configurations, whereby the paving screed is fastened on a machine frame of a tractor of a road paver. The method includes detecting a mass of the paving screed by a weighing system and determining the configuration of the paving screed on the basis of the detected mass of the paving screed. A road paver includes a tractor with a material hopper and a machine frame, wherein a paving screed is fastened on the machine frame. The road paver includes a weighing system that is configured to detect a mass of the paving screed.
ADJUSTABLE PAVING MACHINE
This disclosure relates to an adjustable paving machine. In some examples, the adjustable paving machine includes a variably expandable portion. The variably expandable portion may be expandable laterally such as to accommodate paving operations of variable widths. The adjustable paving machine may be configured to spread a variety of paving materials on a paving surface, including oils, emulsions, asphalt, slurries, or the like. The adjustable paving machine may include a containment basin operative to contain a paving material such as to reduce lateral or longitudinal movement of the paving material. The adjustable paving machine may include an adjustable shoe configured to move the paving machine vertically relative to the paving surface. The adjustable paving machine may include one or more spreading elements configured to spread the paving material on the paving surface. The spreading elements may be supported by a spreading element support enabling easy replacement of the spreading elements.
SIDE-STEP CONCRETE SCREEDING APPARATUS
An apparatus for screeding concrete to produce a level finished surface includes a frame assembly having a pair of spaced vertically oriented stabilization legs secured to the front end thereof supporting a generally horizontal front member. An extendable boom assembly is secured to the frame assembly at a first end and to a screed head at a second end. A side-step assembly includes an actuator with an extendable arm secured to the boom assembly to impart generally lateral motion.
SCREED ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A WORK STATION
The disclosure relates to a screed assembly for laying a road surface, said assembly determining a working width, viewed in the working direction, for laying of the road surface, and a working station for an operator being mounted on the screed assembly. The working station is mounted on the screed assembly in a vibration-decoupled manner, such that the transmission of vibrations from the screed assembly to the working station can be reduced or prevented.
Paving machine screed assembly with material bypass prevention plate
A screed assembly for a paving machine may comprise a main screed and an extension screed configured to extend from the main screed to a fully-extended position. The extension screed may include a deflector and a material bypass prevention plate affixed to the extension screed. The material bypass prevention plate may have a projection that extends into and fills a space between the material bypass prevention plate and the main screed when the extension screed is in the fully-extended position.
Paving screed for a road finisher
A paving screed to be employed on a road finisher comprises a base screed, the operating width of which may be modified by protractable extending units and/or separate removable bolt-on extensions. The paving screed also includes a plurality of side plates, each being mountable on an outer end of the base screed or an extending unit or a bolt-on extension and which delimit the operating width. At least one reference element for determining the operating width is provided on one of the side plates, and that the at least one reference element is detectable by one or more sensor units when the side plates are each mounted on the outer ends of the base screed, an extending unit or a bolt-on extension.
Telescopic screed and paving machine thereof
A telescopic screed includes main section and telescopic section screeds. The main section screed includes a screed frame and a base plate. The telescopic section screeds are arranged on the left side and/or the right side of the main section screed and include a cross slope framework, a cross slope driver, at least two multistage sliding pipes, a telescopic frame, a telescopic driver, a telescopic section frame, a telescopic section base plate and an elevation difference driver. The cross slope framework is pivotally connected with the main section screed to adjust the cross slope. The multistage sliding pipes are used for transversely guiding the telescopic frames to achieve the telescopic ability of the telescopic section screeds. The telescopic section frame is connected with the corresponding telescopic frame to move up and down to adjust the relative height between the telescopic section frame and the telescopic frame.
LOCKING KINEMATICS FOR A LIMITING PLATE OF A ROAD PAVER
A limiting plate assembly for a road paver includes a limiting plate, swiveling device, and locking device. The limiting plate is attached to a component of the road paver via the swiveling device. The limiting plate is rotatable about the swiveling device between a minimum limiting plate position and a maximum limiting plate position. The locking device is adapted to adopt a first locking position and a second locking position. The locking device is adapted, in the first locking position, to block the rotation of the limiting plate about the swiveling device in the direction of the minimum limiting plate position, when the limiting plate is in a first limiting plate position and, in the second locking position, to block the rotation of the limiting plate about the swiveling device in the direction of the maximum limiting plate position, when the limiting plate is in a second limiting plate position.
Channel plate arrangement for a road finishing machine
A channel plate arrangement for a road finishing machine comprises an extension means including a first channel plate which is movably mounted in a horizontal direction with respect to the channel plate arrangement to variably adjust an effective width of the channel plate arrangement, and a second channel plate connected to the first channel plate. The second channel plate is arranged at the first channel plate in a pivoting manner to variably adjust the effective width of the channel plate arrangement.
PAVING MATERIAL AGITATION AND DISTRIBUTION BAR SYSTEM
A compaction assembly can move in a direction of motion over particulate material. The compaction assembly can include a reciprocable agitating portion positioned along an axis perpendicular to the direction of motion. The agitating portion can move laterally along the axis and to agitate the material transverse to the direction of motion. The compaction assembly can further include a screed plate mounted behind the agitating portion with respect to the direction of motion, the screed plate configured to smooth the material.
