MODULAR TRAVEL WARNING STRIP SYSTEM AND METHODS
A modular highway warning strip system is formed of a plurality of segments assembled together to create a warning strip assembly having a length, wherein each of the plurality of segments are spaced from adjacent ones of the segments along the warning strip length. The segments are assembled together along a cord disposed along the length of the warning strip assembly. A plurality of spacers are disposed on the cord along the length of the warning strip assembly, between adjacent ones of the segments in order to maintain a spacing between each adjacent segment.

Modular travel warning strip system and methods
A modular highway warning strip system which comprises a modular warning strip segment having first and second ends, a length extending between the first and second ends, two opposing lengthwise sides, a width extending between the opposing lengthwise sides of the segment, top and bottom surfaces, and a thickness. Each of the first and second ends comprise at least one male protrusion and at least one female receptacle, wherein the at least one male protrusion is configured to engage the at least one female receptacle for joining a plurality of the segments together end-to-end. A segmented metallic plate is disposed between upper and lower rubber layers, the segmented plate comprising a plurality of segments separated by slits comprising living hinges.

VEHICLE-MOUNTABLE CARGO CARRIER FOR PORTABLE RUMBLE STRIPS
A cargo carrier for portable rumble strips is mountable to a hitch assembly for a vehicle. The cargo carrier includes a basket configured to receive and retain a portable rumble strip for storage and transport, and a mounting assembly that includes a pintle adapted to be received in a receiver of a hitch assembly mountable to a vehicle. The basket has a frame that includes frame elements that define a bottom wall, relatively long front and back walls, and relatively short side walls that connect the front wall and the back wall. The front, back, and side walls extend from respective sides of the bottom wall in a common direction. And the basket further includes a rotating element at the top of at least one of the side walls to facilitate drawing rumble strips lengthwise over the side wall into or out of the basket.
Preformed reflective line marking for roadways and associated methods thereof
A preformed thermoplastic roadway line marking includes a preformed thermoplastic substrate layer capable of being attached to a roadway, and a preformed thermoplastic upper layer in contact with the substrate layer. Advantageously, such an upper layer includes a surface area having a plurality of spaced-apart slits. The slits penetrate through an entire cross-sectional thickness of the upper layer and are in fluid communication with the substrate layer. When heated to a liquid state, the substrate layer has a morphed shape and is at least partially displaced upwardly through the slits and disposed on the upper layer such that the upper layer is fixedly locked to the substrate layer and maintained at a substantially stable position relative to the substrate layer. Such a structural configuration provides an unexpected and unpredictable result of insuring the marking is locked into place relative to the roadway, thereby reducing labor costs and improving durability.

System and method for providing bumper alerts
A method for providing a bumper alert, the method includes generating or receiving information about a location of a vehicle; generating or receiving information about a location of a bumper; and generating, by a computerized device, the bumper alert before the vehicle drives over the bumper; wherein the computerized device is at least partially located within the vehicle when generating the bumper alert; and wherein the generating of the bumper alert is based on a relationship between the location of the vehicle and the location of the bumper.
