Mechanically expandable and collapsible traffic warning device
The present invention relates to a mechanically expandable and collapsible traffic warning device safety marker comprising a base member, a controllable linear motion machine assembly and a battery with its connecting components which are contained within the base member, a collapsible body member, and an actuator switch member. The controllable linear motion machine assembly is controlled by an actuator switch member that enables the collapsible body member to mechanically collapse and expand upon user interaction. The controllable linear motion machine assembly mechanically retracts the collapsible body member to a nested position within the base member for compaction upon the user pressing the actuator switch member resulting in the mechanically expandable and collapsible traffic warning device safety marker to be easily stored within a compartment of a vehicle and mechanically expanding the expandable and collapsible body member conveniently to a ready for application condition.
Governing the operation of an asset within a geo-zone
A method of operating an incursion warning system for a work zone, the incursion warning system comprising: a plurality of sensor units arranged about a perimeter of the work zone; and a plurality of alarm units each comprising one or more of an audio, visual or haptic alarm operable to warn a workforce of a potential danger in response to a detected breach into the work area; the method comprising: establishing a geo-zone delimiting a geographical area that includes at least part of the work zone; and a set of rules associated with the geo-zone; deriving an instruction for one of the alarm units determined to be in the geo-zone from the set of rules based on a characteristic of the alarm unit and a characteristic(s) of one or more other alarm units determined to be within the geo-zone; and wherein the instruction is derived in response to a change in a characteristic of the alarm unit and/or the one or more other alarm units and/or one or more of the sensor units within the geo-zone.
Traffic director and system and method for use thereof
A traffic director includes a distal end and a proximal end, two or more sides extending upward from the proximal end at an angle toward the distal end, a proximal notch disposed near the proximal end between two adjacent sides, and the proximal notch forms a first flexion point of the traffic director. The traffic director can further include one or more recessed channels formed in at least one of the two or more sides. The one or more recessed channels forms a second flexion point of the traffic director. The traffic director can further include a removable indicator sleeve having an advertisement or directional indicator printed thereon.
Retractable safety marker
A retractable cylindrical safety marker is provided. The retractable cylindrical safety marker includes a base, having a middle section defining an upper planar surface and two opposing edges; a first end section rotatably attached at an end to one of the opposing edges; and a second end section rotatably attached at an end to the other of the opposing edges, and a vertical riser, having a lower riser having a lower end attached to the first end section and the second end section, the lower riser having a slot extending along its interior surface in the longitudinal direction; and at least one upper riser concentrically positioned within the lower riser, the upper riser having a tab positioned on an outer surface thereof, the tab being mateable with the slot and configured to permit the tab to translate along the slot.
Traffic cone
A two-piece traffic marker assembly a marker body includes a marker body formed of a low density polyethylene and a separable molded rubber base. The base has a weight comprising at least 70% of a total weight of the traffic marker assembly, with the marker body having a weight comprising the remaining 30% or less of the total weight of the traffic marker assembly. Because of this advantageous weight distribution, relative to prior art traffic cones, when the traffic marker assembly is assembled, a tip angle of the traffic marker assembly is about 76 degrees from vertical. A plurality of circumferentially spaced interlocking protrusions disposed on the wall of the marker body, for engaging an interior circumference of the base when the marker assembly is in an assembled space, and for also preventing sticking of marker bodies together when they are stacked.

Work zone intrusion alert system
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for alerting workers in a work zone of a potential intrusion by a vehicle. The example system can comprise a detection unit operable to mount to a work zone boundary marker. The detection unit monitors the work zone for intrusion by moving objects using the Doppler Effect. The detection unit can transmit an alarm signal to one or more personnel alerters, such as worn by workers. The personnel alerters can receive the alarm signal and activate an alert, such as an audible, visual, or other sensory alert. In this way, an alert is provided to personnel working in an established work zone that a moving object, such as a vehicle, has penetrated the work zone perimeter. This type of alert may provide the personnel the vital seconds needed to move to safety.
RETRACTABLE CYLINDRICAL SAFETY MARKER
Positionable warning sign device
A positionable warning sign device provides a portable unit which facilitates identification of a traffic hazard. The device includes a primary member, a first arm, and a second arm. The first and second arms are coupled to the primary member and pivotally positionable to form an end of an arrow. Light emitters are coupled to respective front walls of the primary member, the first arm and the second arm. Arcuate projections extend from the primary member defining a receiver. A projection extends upwardly from a top end of a tripod. An upper portion of the projection is insertable into the receiver whereby the primary member is coupled to the tripod and supported on the lip. A power supply is operationally coupled to the plurality of light emitters.
MOBILE SPREAD-OUT SEPARATING AND PROTECTING BARRIER
A mobile spread-out separating and protecting barrier consisting of air-filled side walls and a base, characterized in that at least two side walls (1) are hinged together in the upper part and connected with at least one plane that constitutes the base (2), wherein the side walls (1) preferably have at least one hole (3)
