REMOTE CONTROL OF TRAFFIC GATES
20210053597 · 2021-02-25 ·

Systems and methods are disclosed including a system that can include a traffic gate, an electronic circuit and a portable controller. The traffic gate can have an arm. The electronic circuit can have a controller, a first communication module, and one or more light sources configured to mount to the arm or other portions of the traffic gate. The controller can be configured to control the electronic circuit to selectively operate the one or light sources as desired. The portable controller can have a second communication module configured to communicate with the first communication module to actuate the controller to control of the electronic circuit.

Safety gate

Apparatus and methods for assembling, installing, and operating a manually operated gate (e.g., a safety gate) are provided. The manually operated safety gate can include a gate frame and a spring assembly. The gate frame can include a proximal upright member, a distal upright member, an upper arm, and a lower arm. The proximal upright member can be anchored to a stationary surface. The upper arm and lower arm can be pivotably coupled to the proximal upright member and distal upright member to form a parallelogram. The manually operated gate can be configured to pivot between an open position and a closed position at a constant angular velocity. The gate can freely pivot to the closed position from a self-close position. A kit can contain the required structural components and instructions and can be used to assemble the manually operated gate assembly.

ATM SECURITY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
20210012621 · 2021-01-14 ·

A security device or apparatus for use with an ATM includes a pair of base assemblies selectively connected by a beam assembly. The beam assembly is designed to prevent access to one or more service doors of the ATM. In one version of the device the beam assembly includes a horizontally extending beam with vertically oriented posts extending from the beam. The device allows for the beam of the beam assembly to be moved from a locked position or state to an unlocked position or state. In the locked position access to the one or more service doors of the ATM is restricted or prevented, while in the unlocked position access to the one or more service doors of the ATM is permitted.

Traffic Control, Site Observation, and Data Management System and Apparatus Including a Remotely-Controllable Arm

A trailer-mounted system and apparatus are provided to improve safety at road construction sites and other locations by allowing drivers to be signaled, and one or more lanes of traffic blocked, without having a flagger stand in or immediately adjacent to a road that is carrying traffic. The system and apparatus may have extensive data and audio and video networking capabilities to allow for remote control of the system and/or observation of the construction site. These networking capabilities may allow the system to further serve to enhance collaboration among remote worksites.

A variant apparatus may be mounted on a highway divider such as a K-rail instead of a mobile trailer. Another variant provides a portable kiosk containing apparatus to supply the data networking and collaboration functions without the mechanical apparatus used to block traffic.
