BOLLARD SYSTEM
A bollard system having a bollard, a carrier device, a lock plate, and a cover plate is provided. The bollard may be rotatable between a deployed configuration and a stowed configuration. The carrier device may have a recess adapted to carry the bollard in the stowed configuration, and may be adapted to be recessed within the ground. The lock plate may be adapted to maintain the bollard in the deployed configuration. The cover plate may be carried by the carrier device and adapted to cover a portion of the recess. The cover plate may be moveable between an opened position and a closed position. When the cover plate is in the opened position, the bollard may be rotatable between the deployed configuration and the stowed configuration. When the cover plate is in the closed position, the cover plate may be configured to be flush with the ground.
MECHANISM FOR ACTUATING A BARRIER AND A BARRIER INCLUDING AN ACTUATOR MECHANISM
A barricade includes a foundation frame, a finger wedge barrier, a hinge hingedly coupling the finger wedge barrier to the foundation frame, and an actuator mechanism coupled to the foundation frame and the finger wedge barrier. The finger wedge barrier is configured to rotate about the hinge between a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration, and the actuator mechanism is configured to rotate the finger wedge barrier between the stowed configuration and the deployed configuration. The actuator mechanism includes an actuator comprising a housing and a rod configured to reciprocally move in the housing, a first linkage having a first end rotatably coupled to the rod and a second end rotatably coupled to the finger wedge barrier, and a second linkage having a first end rotatably coupled to the rod and a second end rotatably coupled to the foundation frame.

Bollard system
A bollard system including a bollard, a carrier device having a recess adapted to carry the bollard in a stowed configuration, a pivot rod fixedly secured to the bollard and received by a pivot carrier of the carrier device, wherein the bollard is adapted to rotate about a longitudinal axis of the pivot rod between a deployed configuration and the stowed configuration, a lock plate adapted to be received by the carrier device to maintain the bollard in the deployed configuration, and a cover plate carried by the carrier device and adapted to cover at least a portion of the recess of the carrier device in both the stowed configuration and the deployed configuration.
Actuator for security gates
A security gate actuator includes a main ball screw, a main ball nut, and a drive shaft stage. The main ball screw may further include a circular channel disposed on an outer surface of the main ball screw and at least one drive ball disposed in the circular channel. The main ball nut may be disposed on the main threads of the main ball screw and configured to translate rotational motion of the main ball screw to linear motion of the main ball nut. The drive shaft stage may include a drive shaft end and a drive shaft tube attached to the drive shaft end, the drive shaft end coupled to the main ball nut. The drive ball may push against the drive shaft tube to translate the rotational motion of the main ball screw to rotational motion of the drive shaft tube.
Erectable barrier
An erectable barrier unit as well as a barricade made of a plurality of units are disclosed. The erectable barrier unit comprises a base and at least one movable hurdle connected to the base wherein the movable hurdle can instantly erect from a resting position in which the hurdle is adjacent to the base to an erected position in which a predetermined angle is formed between the hurdle and the base.
MOBILE ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM
An access control system is provided for controlling access to an area secured by perimeter protection defining a secure perimeter. The access control system comprises a portable container configured to be stored, transported and installed repeatedly as a closed container. The portable container is further configured to be operated repeatedly as an open container and closed container with a permanent barrier section constituted by the portable container and configured to secure a perimeter. At least one operational barrier section is configured to be operational in an open state to allow access through the secure perimeter and in a closed state to block access through the secure perimeter. The operational barrier section is configured to be fully contained within the closed container when not installed is also configured to operate outside of the portable container in either open or closed state and to change between open and closed state.

Ground-based vehicle barrier system
Ground-based barrier systems for permitting or inhibiting vehicle passage, and capturing unauthorized vehicles. One example of the present technology is directed to a ground-based vehicle barrier system, comprising a bollard movable between a recessed position permitting vehicle passage and an extended position inhibiting vehicle passage. A link is connected to or formed as part of the bollard. The link is extending transverse to the bollard. The ground-based vehicle barrier system further comprises a drive connected to a connection point of the link and configured to selectively move the bollard in the recessed and extended positions.
