BOLLARD DRIVE FOR A BLOCKING BOLLARD, AND BLOCKING BOLLARD
A bollard drive for a blocking bollard for moving a blocking member between a blocking position and an opening position. The bollard drive includes a base element connected to a base body, a drive unit arranged on the base element, a coupling device, and an operating device. The drive unit has an electric motor, a transmission, and a drive element connected to the blocking member. The electric motor and the transmission electromechanically drive the blocking member relative to the base body via the drive element being driven by the transmission. The coupling device has first and second coupling parts and establishes a driving connection in the transmission when the first coupling part engages with the second coupling part. The first and the second coupling parts disengage via the operating device to interrupt the driving connection and to release a movement of the blocking member relative to the base body.
Method for actuating a barrier
A barricade includes a foundation frame, a finger wedge barrier, a hinge hingedly coupling the finger wedge barrier to the foundation frame, and an actuator mechanism coupled to the foundation frame and the finger wedge barrier. The finger wedge barrier is configured to rotate about the hinge between a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration, and the actuator mechanism is configured to rotate the finger wedge barrier between the stowed configuration and the deployed configuration. The actuator mechanism includes an actuator comprising a housing and a rod configured to reciprocally move in the housing, a first linkage having a first end rotatably coupled to the rod and a second end rotatably coupled to the finger wedge barrier, and a second linkage having a first end rotatably coupled to the rod and a second end rotatably coupled to the foundation frame.
Apparatus And Method For Rapidly Deflating Tires To Disable A Land Vehicle
An apparatus and a method for disabling a ground engaging traction device of a land vehicle includes at least one penetrator configured to breach the traction device, an articulated strap configured to move the apparatus between a retracted arrangement and an extended arrangement, a mass configured to deploy the apparatus to the extended arrangement, and a retractor configured to retract the apparatus to the retracted arrangement. The penetrators can be arranged in sections and the penetrators can be arranged so as to be multi-directional within each section.
Dissecting barrier
The present subject matter provides a dissecting element that comprises a flat body having an upper side and a bottom side and opposite edges; a hinge on the bottom side wherein the hinge is connected to a surface, wherein the dissecting element is configured to move between an erected state in which the flat body is in an upright position and a horizontal state in which the flat body is adjacently lying on the surface. A plurality of dissecting elements can be provided on a portable ramp and several dissecting elements or ramps establish a barrier system. A method is also provided to prevent passage of vehicles using the dissecting elements.
Path or road barrier for vehicles
The invention relates to a path or road barrier for vehicles, having a foundation which can be inserted into a depression of the driving surface and in which a recess is located. A bollard barrier part (30) is arranged in the recess of the foundation (10), and the path or road barrier is to prevent vehicles with a preferred travel direction in particular from passing through, said travel direction being oriented against the bollard barrier part (30) as the impact direction (15). The bollard barrier part (30) is made of two or more panels (31, 32, 33, 34) which can be handled separately from one another, said panels (31, 32, 33, 34) being arranged parallel to one another. The impact direction (15) is oriented against an impact face (35) of the bollard barrier part (30), said impact face being arranged perpendicularly to the panels (31, 32, 33, 34).
TIRE DEFLATION ASSEMBLY
A tire deflation assembly for selectively extending and retracting a deflation apparatus to engage and deflate a motor vehicle tire includes a housing with a base wall and a perimeter wall attached to and extending over the base wall to define an interior bounded by the base and the perimeter walls. The perimeter wall has a plurality of slots extending therethrough. A deflation apparatus is coupled to the housing and is positioned in the interior. The deflation apparatus is retractably extendable through the slots to engage and deflate a motor vehicle tire. An actuator is coupled to the deflation apparatus for selectively moving the deflation apparatus between the retracted position and the deployed position. A controller is in wireless communication with the tire deflation assembly.
