The present invention is directed to a vehicle safety catch fence system, the system comprising: two or more posts; two or more longitudinal cables operatively coupled between the two or more posts; a transverse cable, wherein the transverse cable is operatively coupled to the two or more longitudinal cables; and two or more cable clamps, wherein the two or more cable clamps operatively couple the transverse cable to the two or more longitudinal cables.

The present invention is directed to a vehicle safety catch fence system, the system comprising: two or more posts; two or more longitudinal cables operatively coupled between the two or more posts; a transverse cable, wherein the transverse cable is operatively coupled to the two or more longitudinal cables; and two or more cable clamps, wherein the two or more cable clamps operatively couple the transverse cable to the two or more longitudinal cables.

A temporary barrier system that is configured to be placed adjacent a concrete divider on a roadway wherein the temporary barrier system provides an increased vertical barrier so as to inhibit seeing therepast. In one example, a safety fence support system for a race track including a track wall positioned proximate an outer edge of the race track is described. The safety fence support system may include support members, an upper mount member, a lower mount member, a cable, and a catching member. The support members may include an upper portion, a lower portion, and an intermediate portion. The support members may be positioned a predetermined distance from the catching member such that a support post impact avoidance zone is defined between the catching member and the intermediate portion of the support members. The catching member may be fencing, netting, or mesh and may extend between the upper and lower mount members and between the at least two support members.

In one example, a safety fence support system for a race track including a track wall positioned proximate an outer edge of the race track is described. The safety fence support system may include support members, an upper mount member, a lower mount member, a cable, and a catching member. The support members may include an upper portion, a lower portion, and an intermediate portion. A barrier cable coupler for coupling two lengths of barrier cable comprises a coupler body including a threaded inner surface, a first end, and a second end; a fixed retaining collar having an outer surface and being retained to the first end of the coupler body, the fixed retaining collar including a tapered inner surface; one or more fixed end wedges positioned within the tapered inner surface of the fixed retaining collar; a tensioning retaining collar having an outer surface, the tensioning retaining collar positioned at least partially within the second end of the coupler body and including a tapered inner surface; one or more tensioning end wedges positioned within the tapered inner surface of the tensioning retaining collar; and a tensioning nut including a threaded outer surface engaging the threaded inner surface of the second end of the coupler body and retaining the tensioning retaining collar therein.
