Road Safety Barrier
A road safety barrier including a plurality of modular blocks made of concrete placed in series and adjacent to each other near at least one of their vertical end portions including a seat that extends along the vertical direction. The road safety barrier including also, at least one anchoring element made of steel able to be placed inside said seat and having a H-shaped section being able to mutually constrain adjacent modular blocks along substantially the entire extension of the at least one of their vertical end portions, and a real time data acquiring and transmission system configured to detect an impact on at least one of the plurality of modular blocks and to transmit a real time warning to an operation center.
Vehicle impact barrier system and vehicle impact barrier unit for use therein
Vehicle impact barrier system (300) comprising a series of impact barrier units (310) and at least one linkage means (332). A first impact barrier unit is linked to at least one other impact barrier unit by said at least one linkage means.

Surface mount security barrier
A security barrier includes a plurality of barrier islands. Each barrier island has a concrete crash block having at least one pair of opposing side faces and external fixing elements on the opposing side faces. Attachments, which may be flexible attachments, extend between the external fixing elements of adjacent barrier islands of the security barrier. Each barrier island also has one or more load transfer element within the concrete crash block and, under load, the load transfer elements transfer load from the external fixing elements on one side of the concrete crash block to the external fixing elements on the opposing side of the concrete crash block.
EMBANKMENT WALL STRUCTURE OF MONOLITHIC FACING PANELS, CHANGER PANELS, STANDARD FACING PANELS AND SAID PANELS THEREOF
The present invention provides an embankment wall structure (1000) comprising a plurality of facing panels (100) extending upwardly from a support surface and adapted to be stacked alongside in a horizontal as well as vertical direction. The plurality of facing panels (100) includes a plurality of monolithic facing panels (120), a plurality of first changer panels (140), a plurality of second changer panels (160), and a plurality of standard facing panels (180). Each monolithic facing panel (120) is stacked side by side with each first changer panel (140) at a desired stretch, and each second changer panel (160) is stacked adjacent to one monolithic facing panel (120) and opposite to one first changer panel (140), at a desired position in a top layer (200) of the wall (1000). Further, each of the uppermost standard facing panels (180) is in contact with either of the panels or combinations thereof.
FIBER REINFORCED RESIN-BASED TEMPORARY ROAD BARRIER
A resin-based barrier comprises a body having a skin of fiber-reinforced resin. The body includes a top, a bottom, a front end, and a back end. A vertical shear web runs between the top and the bottom and is substantially perpendicular to the top and the bottom. Moreover, spaces between the vertical webbing and between the longitudinal webbing are filled with a high-density closed-cell foam. The barrier may be used as a temporary traffic barrier during road construction.
Barrier system, barrier connection apparatus, barrier element and method of use thereof
A barrier system is provided including first and at least second barrier elements. At least a portion of the first and second barrier elements have a hollow interior. Barrier connection apparatus is provided for releasably connecting an end of the first barrier element to an end of the at least second barrier element in use. The barrier connection apparatus has connection means provided on or associated with the same which are arranged to allow detachable attachment to each of the first and at least second barrier elements in use. The barrier connection apparatus is arranged and dimensioned so that at least a part of the barrier connection apparatus is insertable into the hollow interior portions of the first and second barrier elements in use in order to releasably connect the first and at least second barrier elements together.

BARRIER ELEMENT TO BLOCK TRAFFIC AND/OR AS A SECURITY PRECAUTION INCLUDING A BALLAST COMPARTMENT
The present invention relates to a barrier element to block traffic and/or as a security precaution, comprising: an elongated casing with two opposing longitudinal side walls and an upper wall; at least one casing support structure; and supports for resting on the ground/surface connected to the lower side of the elongate casing, wherein in the elongate casing a ballast compartment is incorporated that has a closed top, closed sides and an open bottom. The present invention also relates to a method for making ready for use of such a barrier element.
MOBILE BARRIER
A safety trailer is shown including first and second platforms, at least one of said first and second platforms having an axle and wheels attached thereto; a plurality of interconnected wall sections positioned between and connected to the first and second platforms, the plurality of wall sections defining a protected work area on a side of the trailer; and wherein the trailer supports a ballast member, the ballast member being positioned near a first side of the trailer and the wall sections near a second, opposing side of the trailer, the ballast member offsetting, at least partially, a weight of the plurality of wall sections.
