A collision detection system (1) for detecting and assessing the state of a crash guard (2), comprising at least one crash guard (2), which is provided with a sensor for detecting a collision onto or against the said crash guard (2), wherein the said system comprises a processing unit, which is provided to assess, on the basis of the signals generated by the sensor, the effect of a collision on the crash guard (2) and, if necessary, to initiate an alarm signal.

A cargo net anchor guard mountable to an aircraft's cargo hold wall adjacent to an anchor clip assemblies. The cargo net anchor guard is configured to block cargo from impacting at least the anchor clip assembly. Disclosed is a shock-absorbing barrier. According to the present invention, the shock-absorbing barrier is configured wherein guardrails onto which shock-absorbing members like waste tires or waste rubber are mounted are attached to barrier walls and pillar bodies made by attaching pillar tubes to pillars are connectedly erected by means of the barrier walls on which the guardrails are mounted, so that if an external collision occurs, rotary rods are changed to a shape of a cone around the axis of the pillar tube rail to extend a shock-absorbing section, and the external collision is distributed by the compression and tension of both side rails to decrease the deviation displacement of the barrier wall boundary and to allow the pressure of the collision portion to be distributedly absorbed to the parts connected by the guardrails.

The present invention relates to stanchion padding and more specifically to stanchion padding for use in transit vehicles. The stanchion padding of the present invention comprises a tube having a hollow centre running through it from a first end to a second end and the tube also comprising an exterior wall and an interior wall joined by at least two channel walls forming at least two hollow channels. These hollow channels may be adapted to receive end caps and at least one end cap may be installed onto either the first end or the second end of the tube. The interior wall may additionally have small inner channels running the length of the tube. The tube may be made by thermoplastic extrusion and at least one end cap may be made by thermoplastic injection molding.
