Protective barrier and a corresponding structure
A method of fitting a protective barrier on a structure base. The method may include removing a first sidewall from a tire. A line may be cut spanning from an outer diameter of the sidewall to an inner diameter of the sidewall such that the sidewall includes sidewall ends and the sidewall is no longer a continuous loop. The sidewall ends may be bent away from each other to widen a gap between the sidewall ends. The sidewall may be placed around the structure base by moving the sidewall relative to the structure base such that the structure base passes through the gap and into an inner opening of the sidewall.
Guardrail terminal barrier
A force-absorbing barrier includes a plurality of chambers at least partially filled with fluid. The walls defining the chambers are flexible. Fluid passages in the interior walls between chambers allow fluid flow between the chambers. Alternatively, the chambers are filled with structures instead of or in addition to a fluid. The fluid flow from chamber to chamber and/or the deformation of the structures will absorb energy from the impact a motor vehicle, preventing the vehicle from impacting the terminal of a guardrail.
Barrier Including Strap With Strap Retention Mechanism
A protective barrier includes a first rail receiving member, a second rail receiving member, a rail extending between the first rail receiving member and the second rail receiving member, the rail having ends received by the first rail receiving member and the second rail receiving member, and a strap system extending between the first rail receiving member and the second rail receiving member and through the rail, the strap system including a first strap retaining mechanism including a clamp for securing a first distal end of a strap within the protective barrier.
Structure protector
Structure protector (5), wherein these structures (5) are shelves, doors, pillars or similar and have support legs (6), which comprises a covering element (1) of the support legs (6), formed by a profile (1.1) with a C-shaped section suitable for being adjusted on the exterior lateral contour of said support legs (6) and with a support base (1.2) to the ground and at least one element with a hollow truncated pyramid shape (2), with three inclined sides (2.1) and one open side, an open lower base and an upper base, which is open towards the open side, which has a horizontal flat surface (2.2) in the contour corresponding to the three inclined sides (2.1), where the shape of the interior contour of this horizontal flat surface (2.2) is suitable for fitting the surface around the covering element (1).
Post protectors
Devices, apparatus, kits, systems and methods for protecting sides of wood, plastic or metal posts from damage with easily attachable plastic panels. The panels can provide marking surfaces for addresses on mailbox posts, as well as a surface for applying desirable colors and indicia designs thereon. The panels can each have one side edge with a C shape with open socket, and an opposite side edge with an arrow tip and catch. The panels can attach to one another by having orienting and positioning the arrow tip and catch on top of and into the open socket of the C shape edge. Alternatively, the panels can attach to one another by pushing the side edge with the arrow tip and catch sideways into the open socket of the C shape side edge so that arrow tip and catch snap within the socket of C shape side edge. Plural panels can be attached about a base of a post such as a rectangular or circular cross-section mailbox post or fence post or deck post, and the like.
Utility pole with energy absorbing layer
A stanchion such as a utility pole has an energy absorbing layer positioned proximate to the ground and surrounding the pole to absorb energy due to vehicular impact.
COLUMN PROTECTOR AND COLUMN PROTECTION SYSTEM
An apparatus for protection of an elongated structural support from impact, the apparatus includes an elongated impact protection component in the form of a unitary part having an inner surface, an outer surface, and a plurality of orthogonally-oriented projections spaced along a length of the elongated impact protection component. The projections of the elongated impact protection component include integrally formed connectors for interlocking connection to other same type impact protection components.
RACKING PROTECTOR
A racking system is described. It includes, for example, a racking unit for holding goods thereon. The racking unit includes at least one leg. The system can include at least one protective shroud. Each protective shroud is arranged to least partially encircle a portion the racking unit leg. The protective shroud is arranged to be rotatable about the racking unit leg.
