Cold air blower with self-supported boom
A cold air blower for removing debris from a ground surface that includes a boom rotatable between multiple operating positions and a stowed position. The boom is mounted to a power unit mounted to the vehicle chassis such that the boom is rotatable between at least a front-facing, operating position and a rear-facing stowed position. The boom includes a top tube and a discharge tube that includes a discharge nozzle. The combination of the top tube and the discharge tube are rotatable about the power unit such that the discharge tube is positioned behind the midpoint of the vehicle chassis in the stowed position. The nozzle on the discharge tube can be operated to automatically and continuously rotate between a first pan position and a second pan position. The boom can be rotated between opposite first and second side positions that extend perpendicular to the vehicle axis in opposite directions.
Debris Blower
A debris blower (1) is disclosed comprising a housing (3), a fan assembly (5) arranged in the housing (3), an outlet duct (7), and at least one isolation element (9, 9′, 9″, 9′″) configured to reduce vibrations of the debris blower (1) during operation. The fan assembly (5) is suspended relative the outlet duct (7) completely via the at least one isolation element (9, 9′, 9″, 9′″).
Blower
The invention provides a blower. The blower includes: a main body extending in a longitudinal direction, a battery pack supporting member arranged on the main body, and a battery pack arranged on the battery pack supporting member, the battery pack supporting member is separable with respect to the main body, which includes a body forming a battery pack receiving portion and a mounting portion being coupled with the main body, the battery pack supporting member and the battery pack are detachably coupled to the main body. According to the blower of the invention, the battery pack supporting member is engaged with the main body, and a single battery pack or a dual battery packs can be installed by installing battery pack supporting members with different structures on the main body of the blower, which facilitates the switching between the single battery pack and the dual battery packs.
THERAPEUTIC USES OF GENOME EDITING WITH CRISPR/Cas SYSTEMS
Disclosed herein are methods, compositions, and kits for high efficiency, site-specific genomic editing of cells for treating or preventing genetic blood disorders.
Hand-Guided Working Apparatus Having a Radial Fan
A hand-guided working apparatus has a radial fan. The radial fan includes a fan impeller and an air duct, which has a spiral portion surrounding the fan impeller and has a duct cross section, which increases in the air flow direction. An outlet funnel portion adjoins the spiral portion, widens in a funnel shape in the air flow direction and has a radially inner boundary wall and a radially outer boundary wall. The outlet funnel portion ends in an air outlet opening, the outlet width of which is smaller than an outside diameter of the fan impeller. The radially inner and/or the radially outer boundary wall of the outlet funnel portion has a curvature opposed to that of the spiral portion. An intermediate wall is arranged in the outlet funnel portion, between the radially inner and the radially outer boundary wall. The intermediate wall extends with a curvature opposed to that of the spiral portion and divides the outlet funnel portion into two component portions, each widening in the shape of a funnel in the air flow direction.
DEBRIS MANAGEMENT VEHICLE
A debris management vehicle is disclosed that has a vehicle frame and a fan assembly coupled to the vehicle frame. The fan assembly has a rotor axis oriented obliquely to a horizontal plane. A nozzle defines a nozzle inlet and a nozzle outlet. The nozzle inlet is in fluid communication with an outlet of the fan assembly. The nozzle outlet is rotatable about a nozzle axis that is orthogonal to the horizontal plane.
Multi-Use Garbage Truck
A multi-use garbage truck has an ability to not only to front load containers of garbage into a hopper in a refuse collection body, but also an ability to swap out the forks, if not arm connection assemblies, or even entire frame arms, to be replaced with one of a plurality of attachments which connect to at least one, if not both frame arms with attachments for various uses such as snow plow, leaf blower, street sweeper, bucket, grapple, etc. Furthermore, an ability to independently operate the left frame arm relative to the right frame arm can now be provided so that the left frame arm can utilize and perform one function and the right frame arm provide another or at least be independently operable from one another.
Handheld work apparatus
A handheld work apparatus has a blower wheel. The blower wheel is held via a nut on the shaft in a manner locked against rotation by frictional force. A thread moment of friction is transmittable between the nut and the shaft via a thread section. A first moment of friction is transmittable between the nut and the blower wheel via a first friction contact surface. The first friction contact surface is configured such that, at a minimum tightening torque of the nut, the first moment of friction is greater than the thread moment of friction. As a result, during the operation of the work apparatus when there is a relative movement between the blower wheel and the shaft, the blower wheel moves the nut along therewith. The nut retensions the blower wheel against the shaft. The second friction contact surface runs conically with respect to the rotational axis.
BLOWER
A blower may include a plurality of batteries; a centrifugal fan configured to change a flow direction of air from a first direction extending along the rotation axis to a radially outward direction of the rotation axis; a volute casing including a discharge port and configured to guide the air from the centrifugal fan along a circumferential direction of the rotation axis to the discharge port; and a main grip disposed radially outward of the rotation axis and outside of the volute casing and configured to be gripped by an operator. A central axis of the main grip may extend along a reference plane perpendicular to the rotation axis. A distance from the reference plane to a center of gravity of the blower may be less than or equal to 1.5 times a width of the main grip.
Snow and debris removal apparatus
A debris removal apparatus (e.g., for moving snow) can include a frame configured to attach to a prime mover. The frame can include one or more rails that extend from a first side of the frame to a second side of the frame. Additionally, the debris removal apparatus can include a carriage configured to translate along the one or more rails of the frame. Further, the debris removal apparatus can include a blower configured to intake a fluid and discharge the fluid at a blower outlet. The blower can be coupled with the carriage. Still further, the debris removal apparatus can include a nozzle configured to couple with the blower outlet.
