20190163340 · 2019-05-30 ·

A service mode selection system for a service vehicle is provided for simplifying a control for setting the vehicle in a desired service mode. The system includes a control system for receiving an operator's selection of service mode via a service mode selection device and controlling vehicle components to automatically set the vehicle in a selected service mode. The service mode selection device can be arranged in a cab of the vehicle and allows the operator to conveniently select a desired service mode, thereby achieving a work-ready machine with as few operator inputs as possible.

A liquid removal device is for removing a liquid from a surface. The liquid removal device includes a chassis comprising a handle and an absorber drum and an extractor drum both rotationally coupled with the chassis. The absorber drum includes a cylinder, where an absorbent layer is positioned on an outer drum surface of the absorber drum. The extractor drum includes a reservoir configured to retain the liquid absorbed from the surface, an outer extractor surface, and a plurality of apertures defined by the outer extractor surface in fluid communication with the reservoir. The extractor drum is movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, at least a first portion of the plurality of apertures are in contact with the absorbent layer. In the second position, the first portion of the plurality of apertures are not in contact with the absorbent layer.

Reconformable material removal system

A re-conformable material removal system comprises a head comprising an axial slot extending from an inner chamber to the exterior thereof. A plurality of material removal blades are arranged in side-by-side relationship and have first, proximal ends disposed in the inner chamber, axially extending blade shafts extending through the axial slot and second, distal ends projecting outwardly from the housing to define a removal edge. A biasing member is disposed within the inner chamber to yieldably bias the blades to a fully extended position through the axial slot; wherein placement of the re-conformable material removal system against a surface results in yielding of the biasing member and movement of the blades into the housing when the surface is uneven, resulting in a conformed edge that is continuously adjustable and conformable to the contour of the surface.
