In preferred embodiments, the bottom plate will have a leading edge that extends beyond a first end of the slide and the top plate, the slide will be made at least partially of polyethylene material and a second or following end of the slide will include a stiffener and the polyethylene material is sewn at least partially around the stiffener.

SNOW-CLEARING TRAILER WITH MEANS FOR DETECTING A THIRD-PARTY VEHICLE
20220235529 · 2022-07-28 ·

Pivoting snow-clearing trailer (1) intended to be towed by a towing vehicle (3) with a towing hitch (4), comprising: a chassis (5) extending longitudinally in a chassis direction (I-I) between a chassis anterior end (5a) and a chassis posterior end (5b), and developing transversely between a chassis first side (5c) and a chassis second side (5d) which are opposite one another, a snow-clearing blade (6) borne along the chassis first side (5c).

Detection means (10) are able to generate a presence signal when the snow-clearing trailer (1) is pivoted and when an object or an individual is stationed in an area (A1) to the side and/or an area (A2) to the rear of the chassis second side (5d).

SNOW-CLEARING TRAILER WITH SECURE DRAWBAR LOCKING

Snow-clearing trailer (1) having a chassis (5) extending longitudinally in a chassis direction (I-I) and having a drawbar (9). Pivoting means (11) allow the selective pivoting movement of the chassis (5) and the drawbar (9) with respect to one another. A drawbar locking bar (12) of fixed length can be attached to the drawbar (9) and to the chassis (5) so as to immobilize the drawbar (9) on the chassis (5) in a transport position.

Detection means (13) generate an attachment signal when the drawbar locking bar (12) is attached to the drawbar (9) and to the chassis (5). The detection means (13) and disabling means are arranged in such a way that when the detection means (13) generate an attachment signal, the disabling means prevent any actuation of the pivoting means (11).

Snowplow with Side Shield
20220235528 · 2022-07-28 ·

This present invention relates to an improved snowplow system for commercial snowplow trucks. The snowplow system includes a snowplow blade, a mechanical side shield that raises or lowers into a position generally perpendicular or orthogonal to the snowplow blade. The side shield prevents selective and intermittent snow displacement from one side of the plow blade for an effective snowplowing process that avoids snow discharge in undesirable areas. The side shield features a retraction and activation control inside the snowplow truck cab, along with three adjustable speed settings to accommodate snow conditions and vehicle speed. A hydraulic mechanism and a rotating actuator are present for rotation of the snowplow blade and the side shield.

A down pressure plow system with a float function is disclosed for use in a vehicle. The plow system includes a plow frame assembly and a plow blade carried by the plow blade assembly. An actuator is configured to move the plow blade up and down. A down pressure linkage is coupled to the plow frame assembly. The down pressure linkage applies a downward force to the plow blade upon actuating the actuator to move the plow blade and simultaneously allows the plow blade to move upward upon an upward force being applied to the plow blade.

BUILDING ROOFTOP INTELLIGENCE GATHERING AND DECISION-SUPPORT SYSTEM AND METHODS OF AUGMENTED-REALITY SUPPORTED BUILDING INSPECTION
20210397182 · 2021-12-23 · ·

A building intelligence gathering, assessment and decision-support system including a GPS system deployed about the Earth and supporting a plurality of GPS satellites for transmitting GPS signals to the surface of the Earth. A building data sensor network, including a plurality of GPS-tracked rooftop-mounted sensors, are mounted on the rooftop surface of the building, and adapted for collecting GPS-indexed data specifying conditions on the rooftop surface at particular dates and times of the year. The building rooftop conditions includes one or more conditions selected from the group consisting of snow load conditions, windspeed and direction, and temperature. The system also includes one or more hand-held mobile augmented-reality (AR) based rooftop navigation and inspection devices, each configured for communication with communication servers within a data center over a wireless data communication network. Each hand-held mobile AR-based inspection device is capable displaying digital images of objects and scenery captured in its field of view (FOV) while the user is moving about the rooftop surface, along with graphical indications of GPS-tracked rooftop-mounted sensors collecting data regarding conditions on the building rooftop surface. By virtue of the present invention, users can now navigate building rooftops, inspect rooftop situations, identify where GPS-tracked rooftop-mounted sensors have been installed, and quickly determine where particular conditions have been automatically detected during rooftop inspections.
