A bridge heating device for inhibiting the formation of ice on a bridge includes a power unit positionable upon a roadway of a bridge and a solar panel disposed on a top of the power unit for converting solar energy into electrical energy. A plurality of heating pads is each positionable on the roadway having the plurality of heating pads being daisy chained to extend along a substantial length of the roadway. Each of the plurality of heating pads is in communication with the power unit thereby enabling each of the plurality of heating pads to generate heat when the plurality of heating pads is turned on. Furthermore, each of the plurality of heating pads is in thermal communication with the roadway to inhibit the formation of ice on the roadway thereby enhancing safety for the motorists.
