System for the cleaning of rivers and streams
A system for cleaning rivers and waterways in general includes one or more floating modules, each having a floating body and a rotating body provided with projecting elements configured to be positioned on the water surface, so that, when the rotating body rotates due to the thrusting action of the water current, the projecting elements move floating debris in a direction determined by its rotation direction towards an accumulation or recovery area.
Adsorbent boom for the containment of contaminant spills
A system, method for forming, and a method of manufacturing a boom for the containment of contaminants is disclosed. The boom includes a cover and an adsorbent or absorbent material disposed within the cover. The adsorbent or absorbent material may be formed of one or more sheets of flexible fabric folded upon itself to form a convoluted structure within the elongated cover. Additionally, the material disposed within the elongated cover may form a non-cylindrical cross-section. The material may be at least partially a polyester material.

System for the cleaning and removal of oily and floating substances from rivers, channels and stream in general
A system for cleaning rivers, channels and water courses in general includes floating modules, each having a cavity and an opening that puts the inside of the cavity in communication with the outer environment, and members that position the module so that the opening is at the height of the surface of a water body to be cleaned.
Surface Containment System
A surface containment system to contain liquid contaminates escaping from a vessel, the containment system having in one example: a water and oil impermeable barrier liner positioned below the vessel; a perimeter wall surrounding the vessel, the perimeter wall extending vertically from the ground surface and supporting a portion of the barrier liner so as to form a containment reservoir; at least one fluid conduit through the barrier liner, the fluid conduit having a filter configured to retain contaminates and configured to allow water to pass by way of gravity from the reservoir through the impermeable barrier; the perimeter wall formed of a plurality of wall panels connected by way of struts each having a vertical component, a base component anchored to ground.

LIGHTWEIGHT-FOAMED GLASS AGGREGATES FOR VAPORIZATION SUPPRESSION
Systems and methods are disclosed for vaporization suppression. Vaporization suppression may include, for example, evaporation control and/or odor control. A layer of foam glass aggregates may be placed on a body of water. Bodies of water may include natural and man-made aqueous bodies (such as, for example, ponds, lakes, lagoons, reservoirs, tanks, pools, runoff areas, etc.). Water may include clean water, natural water, rainwater, runoff, industrial output, manure slurries, leachates, treatment effuse, etc.). When placed, the foam glass aggregates in contact with the water may have a first moisture content. At equilibrium, the foam glass aggregates in contact with the water may have a second moisture content. The second moisture content may be greater than the first moisture content. The foam glass aggregates in contact with the water may have a bulk density at the second moisture content that is sufficient to maintain buoyancy at the surface of the body of water.
