Geotechnical profiles and a method of manufacture of geotechnical profiles
A method of manufacture of geotechnical profiles where thermoplastic material including one or more of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyethylene or polythene (PE), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), or polypropylene (PP), is plasticized in an extruder, pressed through a cross die unit and internal reinforcing profiles in the form of flat bars, arched elements, angled elements, ribbed profiles or sections of any geometry are entered at least in selected cross-section areas of the geotechnical profile where the internal reinforcing profiles are created from one or more of continuous or chopped fiber produced simultaneously or as part of a separate production process.
Barrier panel connecting clip and method
An apparatus and method for endwise connecting subterranean barrier members is disclosed. The apparatus includes at least two barrier members with each barrier member extending between top and bottom edges. Further, each barrier member has a side first edge having a flange defining a first connector and an opposed second side edge having a channel defining a second connector. The channel is sized and shaped to receive the flange of an adjacent barrier member in slidable interconnection therein. The apparatus further include a first side panel shaped to lie against a first side of the barrier members, a second side panel shaped to lie against a second side of the barrier members and a bridging plate located between the first and second panel members so as to bridge a gap therebetween, wherein the gap has a width corresponding to a width of the first and second barrier members. The associated method is directed toward creating the apparatus.
Barrier panel connecting clip and method
An apparatus and method for endwise connecting subterranean barrier members is disclosed. The apparatus includes at least two barrier members with each barrier member extending between top and bottom edges. Further, each barrier member has a side first edge having a flange defining a first connector and an opposed second side edge having a channel defining a second connector. The channel is sized and shaped to receive the flange of an adjacent barrier member in slidable interconnection therein. Sheet pile of concrete and wall comprising a plurality of said sheet piles
A sheet pile of concrete comprising a reinforcement (1) which is produced from composite material comprising fibres and a concrete casting (2) which extends between a first lateral end (3) thereof and an opposite second lateral end (4) thereof, the reinforcement (1) being embedded in the concrete casting (2). The sheet pile further comprises a terminal element (6) which is produced from a polymer material and which comprises a connection element (7) which is embedded in the concrete casting (2) and an engagement element (8) of the sheet pile (100) which is connected to the connection element (7). The connection element (7) and the engagement element (8) extend along a longitudinal axis (X) of the sheet pile, in which the engagement element (8) has a practically C-shaped cross-section and projects from the first lateral end (3) of the concrete casting (2). The second lateral end (4) of the concrete casting (2) comprises a concrete joint (9) which extends longitudinally along the longitudinal axis (X) and which is shaped so as to be connected in an interlocking manner to the engagement element (8) of a second sheet pile.

Secondary containment
This patent pertains to secondary containment systems. One implementation includes a support assembly that includes an elongate post member and a stabilization plate. In one instance, a stabilization plate is mounted on the elongate post member to reduce movement of the elongate post member when the stabilization plate is embedded in the ground. Another implementation includes a panel splice assembly including reinforcing members that secure overlapping, corrugated panels.
Secondary containment
This patent pertains to secondary containment systems. One implementation includes a support assembly that includes an elongate post member and a stabilization plate. In one instance, a stabilization plate is mounted on the elongate post member to reduce movement of the elongate post member when the stabilization plate is embedded in the ground. Another implementation includes a panel splice assembly including reinforcing members that secure overlapping, corrugated panels.
Two-piece polygon shaped metal fin tube foundation and method of making same
A metal fin tube foundation includes a pair of coupled metal plates, each plate being comprised of a plurality of flat panels, wherein each panel is positioned at an angle relative to an adjacent panel, and each plate including a fin on each lateral end of each plate, wherein each fin overlaps a fin of the other metal plate forming two pairs of overlapped fins, wherein the plates are coupled along each of the two pairs of overlapped fins; wherein the plurality of panels of the coupled two metal plates form a closed perimeter polygon shape having an open interior and wherein each pair of overlapped fins form a combined fin element which extends away from the perimeter of the polygon.
