RAM hashing in blockchain environments
Blockchain environments may mix-and-match different encryption, difficulty, and/or proof-of-work schemes when mining blockchain transactions. Each encryption, difficulty, and/or proof-of-work scheme may be separate, stand-alone programs, files, or third-party services. Blockchain miners may be agnostic to a particular coin's or network's encryption, difficulty, and/or proof-of-work schemes, thus allowing any blockchain miner to process or mine data in multiple blockchains. GPUs, ASICs, and other specialized processing hardware components may be deterred by forcing cache misses, cache latencies, and processor stalls. Hashing, difficulty, and/or proof-of-work schemes require less programming code, consume less storage space/usage in bytes, and execute faster. Blockchain mining schemes may further randomize byte or memory block access, further improve cryptographic security.

The pafolacianine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is configured to bind one or more malignant lesions and emit an optical signal.
Voltage sensitive dyes
Voltage sensitive dyes comprising boron and related compositions and methods are provided. In some embodiments, a voltage sensitive dye comprises an electron acceptor comprising boron. The electron acceptor may be attached (e.g., covalently) to at least one electron donating group and at least one polar group. For instance, the electron acceptor may comprise optionally substituted boron dipyrromethene (e.g., optionally substituted 4,4-difluoro-4-bora-3a,4a-diaza-s-indacene). The point of attachment and chemical nature of the electron donating group(s) and polar group(s) may be selected to impart beneficial properties to the voltage sensitive dye. For instance, the voltage sensitive dye may have an extended difference in the dipole moment between the ground and electronic states due at least in part to the position of the electron donating group(s). The voltage sensitive dyes, described herein, may have high specificity, high signal to noise ratio, fast responsivity, high voltage sensitivity, high photostability, and/or high brightness.
Body fluid leakage detection aqueous composition
A body fluid leakage detection aqueous composition, for use e.g. in intraoperative pancreatic fluid leakage detection. The composition comprises a gelling agent, increasing the viscosity of the composition, and buffering species, the composition thereby being buffered. The gelling agent is cross-linked α-glucan microspheres. Further, the composition comprises a pH-indicator. The pH of the composition is at least 0.1 pH units lower, or higher, than a pKa of the pH-indicator.

CONTRAST AGENTS FOR DETECTION OF ENZYME ACTIVITIES BASED ON MELANIN SYNTHESIS
We disclose a composition, comprising a compound, comprising a melanin precursor that spontaneously synthesizes a melanin when in free form in vivo, and a peptide directly covalently bonded to or indirectly linked to the melanin precursor, wherein the direct covalent bond or indirect link of the peptide to the melanin precursor blocks spontaneous synthesis of the melanin in vivo in the absence of protease activity. We also disclose methods of tumor imaging, tumor detection, diagnosis, and treatment, including methods comprising administering, to a patient suffering from a tumor, the composition; and either surgically resecting the tumor or thermally ablating the tumor, wherein the surgical resection is guided at least in part by contrast imparted by, or the thermally ablating targets cells containing, the melanin, wherein the melanin is spontaneously synthesized in the tumor after administering the composition.

Magazines for tactical medicine dispensers
Magazines that include a supporting member such as a strap, rod or chamber and one or preferably a plurality of portable medicament cases that each include a medicament provided in a package. Each case has first and second housing members that are configured to form a medicament package receiving cavity when joined together. The housing members mate together in a sealed configuration that prevents moisture or contaminants from entering into the cavity. The magazines are configured for containing a plurality of medicament cases for administration of medicaments to a group of people. Also included is a method of administering medications to mass casualties of multiple persons that are in need thereof. The medicaments are rapidly disintegratable and can include a dye that stains the person's mouth so that medical personnel can determine who has been treated with the medicament.
