Capping assembly
A capping assembly (10) for mounting on a covering (12) is disclosed. The capping assembly (10) comprises a cap (14) which can be disposed on the covering (12), a securing arrangement (18) to enable the capping assembly (10) to be secured on the covering (12). The capping assembly (10) further includes an insertion member (16) for insertion through the covering (12). The cap (14) can be attached to the insertion member (16). The securing arrangement (18) comprises a securing device (20) and a holding formation (44) to hold the securing device (20), the holding formation (44) being provided on the insertion member (16).
Truss foundations with improved corrosion resistance and related systems, methods and machines
A pair of truss legs forming an A-frame-shaped truss foundation system, wherein each truss leg is formed from a hollow lower screw anchor having threading around its lower end connected to an upper leg, wherein both the screw anchor and the upper leg have corrosion protection layers formed on their inner and outer surfaces thereof, but wherein only the screw anchor also has a second corrosion protection layer formed over the first protection layer on its outer surface only.
Cellular base station ground component mounting system
Various cellular base station ground component mounting systems are presented herein. Such a system can include a cellular component cabinet configured to house a plurality of components of a cellular base station. The cellular component cabinet can define cabinet mounting holes. Such a system can include a support structure that defines mounting holes that correspond to the cabinet mounting holes of the cellular component cabinet. The system can include a stabilization structure that defines earth anchor mounting holes configured to receive earth anchors to anchor the mounting platform to the ground.
SOIL NAIL/MICROPILE COMPRISING DISSIMILAR BARS CONNECTED WITH TRANSITION COUPLER
A soil nail or micropile comprises a first steel bar having a first end, a second end and a non-threaded exterior surface, a second steel bar having a first end, a second end, and an exterior surface which is threaded at the second end, and a transition coupler joining the second end of the first steel bar to the first end of the second steel bar, whereby when installed in-ground, the first steel bar is located in the ground and the second threaded end of the second steel bar protrudes from a surface of the ground, such as for accepting a bearing plate and threaded nut.
EROSION CONTROL SECURING APPARATUS AND METHOD
An erosion control securing apparatus and method is disclosed. For example, an erosion control securing device is provided that includes a main shaft with a hexagonal-shaped head portion at its proximal end and a coil portion at its distal end. In one example, the coil portion of the erosion control securing device includes three turns. Further, a method of using the presently disclosed erosion control securing device for securing erosion control products is provided.
ANCHORING SYSTEMS FOR MOBILE LIVESTOCK ENCLOSURES
In general, one aspect disclosed features an anchoring system for anchoring an at least partially floorless mobile livestock enclosure to the ground. The anchoring system comprising: a securing flange configured to mechanically couple the anchoring system to the enclosure; an anchor; and a drive configured to place the anchor into contact with the ground, and to retract the anchor from contact with the ground.
Low density blasting mat and method of utilizing same
A mat assembly including a planar mat body formed to cover a preselected area of a surface region. The preselected area partially defines a volume of ground to be broken by explosion therein. The mat body includes one or more layer elements. The mat body has an engagement surface for engagement with the preselected area. The mat assembly includes a skirt element connected with the mat body having an external portion extending from the mat body, for at least partially restraining matter ejected from the volume of ground upon initiation of the explosion.
Portable foundation and anchor
Anchor pads are a portable foundation to support the weight of a portable structure. Anchor pads also anchor to the ground to withstand wind loads or other vertical loads on the portable structure. Anchor pads can be stacked to form larger portable foundations to support more weight or larger structures.
