INTEGRATED SOUNDWALL AND RENEWABLE ELECTRICAL ENERGY GENERATION SYSTEM AND METAL TUBE FOUNDATIONS THEREFORE
An integrated soundwall and renewable electrical energy generation system includes a series of metal fin tube foundations; a beam secured to each metal fin tube foundation, wherein the beam includes a lower portion extending into the interior of the metal fin tube and secured thereto, and each beam including channel forming elements; a series of solid fence panels inserted between adjacent beams, with each panel received within the channels formed by adjacent beams; and an electrical energy generator, such as a solar panel array, coupled to select beams above the solid fence panels. Inexpensive energy has always been a boon to spur economic development of a region, and the use of ecologically friendly sources is preferable. The design of the system allows for easy construction of parallel fences to multiply the energy generation with such parallel fences enhancing the barrier aspects of the fence system.

RAPID CONSOLIDATION AND COMPACTION METHOD FOR SOIL IMPROVEMENT OF VARIOUS LAYERS OF SOILS AND INTERMEDIATE GEOMATERIALS IN A SOIL DEPOSIT
The rapid consolidation and compaction method comprises (i) first driving a hollow pipe, (ii) driving a pipe with a removable end plate after filling and compacting the sandy material in it, through the hollow pipe, to required depth, creating high excess pore-water pressures in the range of 50 to 300 KPa in clayey soils, (iv) pulling out the pipe section leaving behind the removable end plate and thereby installing porous displacement piles which allows dissipation of the excess pore-water pressures horizontally to the porous displacement pile, in which the excess water flows out vertically to the ground surface, and (v) the length of the drainage path is reduced to half the spacing between adjoining porous displacement piles, allowing rapid consolidation resulting in increase in density. Installing the porous displacement piles in the layer of loose to medium dense sand layer results in the instantaneous increase in its density.

Barbed micropiles for soil reinforcement
A barbed micropile for soil reinforcement at a target location and a method for soil reinforcement at a target location. The barbed micropile includes a conical-head pipe which comprises a hollow rod, a conical head, and a first plurality of T-shaped elements mounted around an outer surface of the hollow rod. The method may include generating a cavity at the target location, filling the cavity with grout, generating a well at the target location by inserting a barbed micropile into the ground at the target location, filling a space between the barbed micropile and the well's wall with grout, and filling an inner chamber of the hollow rod.
