Modular slab, slab system, piles and methods of use thereof

A modular slab, slab system, piles and methods of use thereof are described along with specific applications and methods of manufacture. The slab or slab system may be pre-insulated and pre-finished before being assembled on site. The slab system may be advantageous to use as a replacement for traditional in-situ poured building foundations. The slab system may also have uses in other fields such as for floors, roads, bridges, pavements/side walks and other civil and structural applications.

Charging station foundation having an inlet for a power supply line and a recess for receiving charging electronics, the inlet being guided from an outer wall of the foundation to an inner wall of the recess. In order to increase the reliability of charging infrastructure, it is provided that charging electronics at least comprising a circuit breaker and a charging controller protected according to protection class IPxy with x>=6 and y>=6, preferably y>=8 according to DIN EN 60529, are arranged in the recess.

MODULE FOR A STRUCTURE
20190249379 · 2019-08-15 ·

A construction module for a structure, comprising: a formwork member that includes a base, a pair of parallel side walls that extend upwardly from the base, and a pair of parallel end walls. The base, the side walls and the end walls define a cavity for reinforcement and concrete. A reinforcement member includes an upper portion and a lower portion. When the reinforcement member is located in the cavity and concrete fills the cavity, the lower portion of the reinforcement member and the concrete define an elongate beam.

Earthquake dynamic arches with stacked wedge foundation

The present invention is an arch/building support system comprising two (or more) opposing wedges, at least one located at the base of each side of the arch, with the bases of the opposing wedges facing each other, the opposing wedges connected to each other by a semi-rigid flexible rod or rods. In a building structure, the flexible member could be rebar(s) made of one or various materials (metal, plastic, nylon etc.) with various degree of elasticity. The rebars could envelop the structure (around the outside or shell) or reside within it, and may also incorporate some sort of spring mechanism. The rebar(s) are anchored to the upper wedge on each side of the arch, but need not be, and could instead be anchored to the ground.

Pre-cast concrete foundation of modular construction for telecommunication or wind turbine tower
10309074 · 2019-06-04 · ·

A modular foundation design for supporting a wind turbine or telecommunication tower, comprised of pre-cast concrete modules offering advantages of off-site manufacture and ease of transportation, but which deign is simple to construct. A base slab is provided comprised of sub-modules/base members arranged together in juxtaposed position which together provide a horizontal surface on which pre-cast pipe members may be stacked in end-to-end position to form a pedestal. Anchor rods extend through the pipe members into screw retainers in the base members, which rods serve to not only post-tension the pipe members and secure them together, but further advantageously serve to retain the base members together thereby assisting in distributing forces and loads applied to one sub-module/base member over the entire base slab. Coupling means to further couple the base members together may be added to better retain the base members together and still further improve distribution of forces.

Construction assembly and method for making and using the same

A construction assembly and methods for making and using the same. The construction assembly includes a plurality of primary structure members each having an S shape including first and second portions respectively defining first and second level recesses. The primary structure members can be in a standing position with the first and second level recesses being respectively proximal to and distal from ground. The first portions can collectively surround and define first level space. The second portions can collectively surround and define second level space greater than the first level space. Advantageously, the construction assembly can provide an efficient space-generating solution. Because of the smaller floor area of the first level space, environmental hazards such as wind, flood or tsunami can exert smaller impact on part of the construction assembly proximal to the ground. Advantageously, the primary structure member can be lightweight, strong and easy to assemble.

PRECAST CHARGING STATION PAD
20240246434 · 2024-07-25 ·

Precast charging station pads comprising a base, a first barrier attached to the base, and a conduit chase extending through the base. A method of installing a precast charging station pad having a base, one or more barriers, a conduit chase, and lifting pins, the method comprising digging a hole at least 6 inches wider in each direction as the precast charging station pad, filling the hole with sufficient crushed stone so that the precast charging station pad will be level with a final grade, installing a conduit, placing the precast charging station pad over the conduit using lifting pins, backfilling soil around the precast charging station pad, and compacting the soil.
