A plurality of concrete forms is provided which each has a trapezoidal shape. In this way each of the concrete forms can be lifted upwardly from a concrete member formed by the concrete forms when the concrete member has cured. Each of the concrete forms has a crenellated edge to form a series of slots into the concrete member. In this way the series of slots in the concrete member facilitate the concrete member to be lifted with a forklift.

A casting kit for constructing a foundation which includes a plurality of void forming members, each of which has securing means on its sides to secure to a matched void forming member thereby to define a minor void forming formation and at least one side of each void forming member having a step formation such that a groove is formed between the step formation of adjacent void forming members in a minor void forming formation for receiving tensile elements in the groove.

A system and method for constructing an insulated concrete form (ICF) wall are provided. Vertically-oriented pairs of ICF foam panels of an ICF structure are erected above a footing, with vertical panel supports located along opposed vertical edges of each set of adjacent vertically-oriented panel pairs. An internal brace support, extending longitudinally along the structure, is installed between the individual panels of the panel pairs. Concrete is poured between the erected vertically-oriented ICF foam panels to complete the ICF wall.
