Stationary pipeline support
The disclosure relates to a saddle support for use in above-ground pipeline construction in severe geological conditions, such as permafrost. The support provides structural stability and redistribution of a load from a pipeline to a pile foundation. The saddle support includes the spool coupled to four adjustable stands through electric insulating units. The stands can be adjusted to change a height and slope angle of the support and are fastened to a single-level pilework that supported by the pile foundation via flanges. The spool is a pipe having an external case and a heat-insulating layer. Longitudinal ribs are fastened to the spool to fasten the spool to the stands. The load-bearing structure of the spool resists axial and side movements of the pipeline and transfer the load absorbed by the spool to the pilework foundation via the electric insulating units on the adjustable stands.

System and method for improving deformability of buried pipelines
A system is provided that increases the deformability of buried pipelines to accommodate combinations of vertical, lateral and longitudinal displacements and subsequent curvatures caused by ground movements. Installation of this system prevents concentration of deformations which may cause catastrophic failures such as buckling, yielding, rupture, and weld failures. The assembly includes an element provided adjacent a pipeline and collapsible in two orthogonal directions; one, the longitudinal direction of the pipe, and two, a direction of expected lateral movement of the pipe. The collapsible element is configured to resist soil pressure in a direction orthogonal to the first two directions, and further provided is a supporting backing element adjacent an end of the collapsible element opposed to the pipeline, to prevent exposure of the collapsible element to soil pressure in one of the two orthogonal collapsible directions. The size and configuration of the installation depends on the soil and pipe properties, and type/magnitude of expected displacements.
Water intake pipeline structure passing through soft foundation embankment below flood level and construction method
The present invention discloses a water intake pipeline structure passing through a soft foundation embankment below a flood level and a construction method. The water intake pipeline structure comprises: pipelines, a gate valve well, a concrete pipe bed, a high-pressure jet grouting pile continuous wall, cement deep mixing piles, geogrids, backfilling clay, a clay bound macadam and concrete key walls. After the embankment is broken and excavated to reach a pipeline embankment-passing design elevation, the cement deep mixing piles are fully disposed in a plum blossom type, and the high-pressure jet grouting pile continuous wall is disposed under the gate valve well. A plain concrete cushion layer, the gate valve well, the concrete key walls and the concrete pipe bed are poured, the water intake pipelines are installed, and the pipelines behind the gate valve well are wrapped with concrete. The geogrids are placed during clay backfilling, and layered soil filling is performed. An embankment top is restored by using the clay bound macadam. The gate valve well is provided with a gate valve, and an operating lever is connected onto the gate valve. The present invention further discloses the construction method of the water intake pipeline structure designed to pass through the soft foundation embankment below the flood level. The present invention can eliminate differential settlement of an embankment-passing section, cut off seepage channels in contact positions of the pipelines and the embankment body, and improve the anti-skid stability of an embankment slope, and meanwhile it is novel in structure and convenient to implement.

Movable pipeline-support and support assembly thereof
The disclosure relates to the construction of a support for above-ground pipelines and can be used for laying pipelines in in permafrost and on slopes. The result of the support is uniform distribution of the load from the pipeline to a bedding cradle, displacement of a movable part in response to predetermined conditions, and prevention of deformation due to soil heaving. The result is achieved due to inclusion of moving and fixed parts. The movable part includes a semi-cylindrical cradle with two semi-annular frames on the outside of the cradle, detachable half-yokes fix the pipe in the cradle, side cheeks welded to the frame and movably fixed to the tower base by a hinged joint, and a base slidably positioned on a stationary surface of the support. The objective is also solved using a support assembly being structurally different than prior art supports, as described herein.

CIVIL ENGINEERING STRUCTURE FOR GUIDING A LINE
A civil engineering structure for guiding a line in a slot in a surface area outdoors, said slot being formed by a milling or grinding process. A protective cover which consists of sub-pieces connected together in an articulated manner, extends above the line in the slot. The volume region of the slot in which the line is located is unfilled and is protected against expected compressive loads from the top by the sub-pieces. Because the sub-pieces are connected together in an articulated manner, the cover can be inserted without difficulty into longitudinal regions of the slot that have a curved course.
