Modular mechanical arm for adaptive cleaning and damage detection of underwater pile foundation
A modular mechanical arm of an underwater pile foundation structure includes a modular interface disposed at one end of the transmission arm rod, a mechanical arm connecting part disposed at the other end of the transmission arm rod. The mechanical arm connecting part is separately provided with two arm frames, each of the arm frames comprises an inner arm frame and an outer arm frame, the inner arm frame and the outer arm frame are coupled by a joint, and a soft moving and cleaning part is disposed on an inner side of each of the arm frames; the modular interface is coupled with an underwater UAV interface to transmit current and a control signal, a waterproof steering gear is built in the transmission arm rod to receive the control signal.
Segmented suction bucket
A suction bucket for a seabed foundation for an offshore facility is provided. The suction bucket is arranged for being embedded into a marine sediment. The suction bucket includes a lid and a sidewall. The sidewall is segmented into a first circumferential segment and at least a second circumferential segment. The first circumferential segment is connected with the second circumferential segment. The first circumferential segment and the second circumferential segment are attached to the lid of the suction bucket. Furthermore, the first circumferential segment and the second circumferential segment each contains at least one substantially planar section. Furthermore, a method to manufacture a suction bucket for a seabed foundation for an offshore facility is also provided.
Solar Panels Over Water Reservoir System
A system of solar panels over a water reservoir may include a plurality of piers secured to a floor of the water reservoir and extending from the floor to a fixed elevation above a maximum water elevation of the water reservoir. The system of solar panels may also include at least one support structure on the plurality of piers. The system of solar panels may also include a plurality of solar panels supported by the support structure over at least a portion of the water reservoir. The plurality of solar panels both reduce evaporation from the water reservoir and generate solar electricity.
Universal block platform lower platform block and method of use
A method includes mounting a lower platform block (300) to a plurality of piles (215) positioned on a surface. The lower platform block includes a first frame (315), a plurality of docking assemblies (305) connected to the first frame and engaging the piles, and a plurality of conductor tubes (310) connected to the first frame to a plurality of piles. The docking assemblies are released from the piles to separate the lower platform block from the piles.

Methods and apparatus of building construction resisting earthquake and flood damage
A three part foundation system for supporting a building is described. Three part foundation systems can include a containment vessel, which constrains a buffer medium to an area above the containment vessel, and a construction platform. A building can be built on the construction platform. In a particular embodiment, during operation, the construction platform and structures built on the construction platform can float on the buffer medium. In an earthquake, a construction platform floating on a buffer medium may experience greatly reduced shear forces. In a flood, a construction platform floating on a buffer medium can be configured to rise as water levels rise to limit flood damage.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing marine foundation
A method and fixturing apparatus for manufacturing a suction caisson foundation includes providing an elevated center support and peripheral supports, elevating the foundation's prefabricated thumb section atop the center support, and temporarily securing radial frame members about the circumference of the prefabricated thumb section with the each frame member resting atop a respective peripheral support. The skirt panels are then affixed to the frame members, and the frame members to the prefabricated thumb section to thereby become self-supporting. The center support is removed from the interior of the resulting bucket, as by raising the peripheral supports to unload the center support, and lowering and dismantling the center support, whereupon additional panels are affixed to the frame members to define the foundation's lid, and further shaft sections added atop the prefabricated thumb section to complete the foundation. Temporary beams bridging preselected framing members advantageously allow use of transportation crawlers.
Process for installing an offshore tower
Process for installing an offshore tower, comprising: a) manufacturing a foundation comprising a block, manufacturing at least one superposition section of a shaft, and manufacturing a base section of a shaft; b) applying said base section to said foundation block (starting unit) to assume the relative position for the installed condition, applying said superposition sections to said starting unit in a multi-layered configuration, and applying lifting means to at least one of said foundation block and said base section; c) moving said starting unit up to the installation point; d) introducing ballast in said foundation block so that said starting unit sinks until resting on the bottom of the body of water; e) actuating said lifting means to expand said sections into the installed condition; f) between step a) and c), placing said foundation block or starting unit in the body of water of the installation point.
Floating offshore wind power generation facility
A floating offshore wind power generation facility includes a floating body, a mooring cable, a tower, and a windmill installed at the top of the tower, the windmill including a nacelle and a plurality of blades. The rotation axis of the windmill has a predetermined upward angle to avoid contact between the blades and the tower, and the windmill is of a downwind type in which the blades are attached to the leeward side of the nacelle and installed with the back surfaces of the blades facing windward, and the mooring point of the mooring cable to the floating body is set at a position below the surface of the sea and higher than the center of gravity of the floating body.
