The false joint can have a depth divided by the width greater than two inches. The false joint can have an interior angle of less than ten degrees. The system includes a plurality of retaining wall blocks and a first course of retaining wall blocks engaged with a second course of retaining wall blocks below. Each block in the system comprising a front face having a first textured surface and a second textured surface and a false joint dividing the first and second textured surface. The false joint can extend a predetermined depth of a third surface.
INTERLOCKING BLOCKING SYSTEM FOR RETAINING WALLS AND OTHER USES
An interlocking blocking system includes a plurality of interlocking blocks. Each of the interlocking blocks includes a tapered opening, a protruding bottom, and a hollow tapered inside. The tapered opening is through a top surface of the interlocking block. The protruding bottom extends beyond a bottom surface of the interlocking block. The protruding bottom includes a tapered outer surface, a thickness, and an inner tapered surface. The hollow tapered inside extends from the tapered opening on the top surface and tapers into the inner tapered surface of the protruding bottom. The tapered outer surface of the protruding bottom is shaped and sized to match and fit inside of the tapered opening at the top surface of the interlocking block. Wherein the plurality of interlocking blocks are configured to be stacked onto one another.
ADJUSTABLE LOCATOR RETAINING WALL BLOCK AND MOLD APPARATUS
A system of retaining wall blocks, a method of assembling a retaining wall block assembly, and a mold for manufacturing retaining wall blocks having adjustable engagement configurations.
BUILDING BLOCK, WALL CONSTRUCTIONS MADE FROM BUILDING BLOCKS, AND METHODS
A concrete building block includes indicators along each end to assist in aligning a pin placed in the block with a channel in a like block in a course below as a wall is being constructed.
Precast reinforced concrete heavy duty retaining wall
A precast reinforced concrete heavy duty retaining wall comprises a precast concrete square face panel with integral four fins connected to the rear of facing and the end of each fin with integral regular octagon. A fin comprises a reinforced concrete slab and having a substantially plurality of horizontal holes along each fin panel, used for inserted horizontal rebars into each hole, and bonded the vertical rebars to the horizontal rebars in each vertical channel. Designed the rebars by professional engineer. The upper surface of regular octagon of outer left and outer right having protude male interlocking and the lower surface of regular octagon, having female interlocking, the center are substantially opposite. The upper surface of face panel having a noch male interlocking, and the lower surface having a groove female interlocking, the center are substantially opposite. The side view at both left and right having grooves.
COMBINATION STANDARD AND CORNER SEGMENTAL RETAINING WALL BLOCK WITH INTEGRAL VERTICAL INTERLOCK SYSTEM
A retaining wall block includes a block body having: a top and a bottom spaced from the top by a height H; a front and a rear spaced from the front by a depth D; and a first side and a second side spaced from the first side by a length L; a vertical interlock system comprising: a female component comprising a groove in the bottom of the block body, the groove being spaced from the front by a depth FB and having a depth G, the groove extending from a distance F from the first side through to the second side, wherein F<FB and FB+G<D; and a male component extending across the top of the block body between the first side and the second side, the male component being spaced from the front by at least a depth of FB and having a depth no greater than G, wherein a plurality of gaps in the male component comprise: a first gap extending from the first side and having a first gap length of at least FB; a second gap spaced from the first gap by no more than G and having a second gap length of at least D−FB−G+F, the second gap extending at least to D+F from the first side; a third gap spaced from the second gap and having a third gap length of at least 2F; and a fourth gap spaced from the third gap and having a fourth gap length of at least 2F, the fourth gap extending at least to L−D+F from the first side wherein the fourth gap does not extend all the way to the second side. Various embodiments are described.
Wall blocks, veneer panels for wall blocks and method of constructing walls
Wall blocks, veneers, veneer connectors, walls, and methods of constructing walls are provided. More particularly, the invention relates to constructing walls in which a veneer panel is attached to a wall block with a connector and in which the front faces of the veneers have a desirable texture.
Wall construction system
A wall construction system including plurality of interlocking concrete blocks. The interlocking blocks include one or more stretcher blocks, corner blocks, and half blocks. The blocks include top and end shear lugs and bottom and end grooves. The bottom grooves accommodate the top shear lugs of blocks in a lower course of stacked blocks. Corner blocks provide a means for creating a corner and turning the direction of a course of blocks by 90 degrees. The interlocking features of the blocks enable dry-stacking in successive courses to construct a wall or multi-wall structure. When stacked end to end in successive rows, the top and end shear lugs of each interlocking block engage complimentary grooves in the underlying, overlying, and adjacent blocks thereby enabling the blocks to rapidly self-align vertically and lock together as they are stacked. The resulting dry-stacked structure exhibits a high lateral resistance to overpressures or transverse loads.
Modular wall block, interlocking block assembly, and retaining wall constructed of an assembly of modular wall blocks
A modular wall block is adapted for being assembled together with a number of other blocks in stacked courses to form a retaining wall. First and second spaced apart T-shaped formations are located at a rear of the block body, and define therebetween a T-shaped vertical fastener channel and opposing vertical side grooves. The vertical fastener channel is adapted for receiving a complementary T-shaped formation of a rearwardly placed embedment block. The vertical side grooves are adapted for cooperating with vertical side grooves of adjacent like wall blocks to selectively receive a removable wall insert.
CONCRETE BUILDING BLOCK AND METHODS
A concrete block includes a dry cast concrete body having opposite first and second sides, opposite first and second end faces extending between the first and second sides, and opposite first and second bearing faces extending between the first and second sides and the first and second end faces. Each of the first and second bearing faces defines an inset region sized to receive a key that will also fit into the inset region of a like block stacked thereon. The body has at least a pair of rod-receiving apertures extending completely therethrough between the first and second sides to permit attachment to a like block through the first and second sides with a rod extending through each of the apertures. The block can be tapered to form curved walls.
