SMART SYSTEM FOR MANHOLE EVENT SUPPRESSION SYSTEM
A system including a processor and sensor for installation inside an underground vault. The sensor monitors a parameter inside the vault and sends a monitoring signal to the processor. Based on the monitoring signal, the processor may provide data to a memory for storage and/or control signals to an interface for transmission to an external device located within the vault. The control signals instruct the external device to modify the environment inside the vault. The sensor may be positioned inside an enclosure, which is inside a housing. An air moving device moves air into or out of the enclosure thereby drawing air from the vault into the enclosure before the sensor monitors the parameter. A heat generating component may be positioned inside the housing and when generating heat prevents moisture from condensing therein. The system may include a power unit that draws power from a power source inside the vault.

Water service monitor assembly
A water service supply assembly includes a water supply line with a stop valve. A lid is supported relative to the stop valve. A first switch is adapted to detect movement of the lid and a second switch is adapted to detect if a body is moved relative to the stop valve.

LID FOR UTILITIES ENCLOSURE HAVING INTERNAL REINFORCEMENT MATRIX AND METHOD FOR MAKING LID
A lid for a utilities vault having a moldable core and a reinforcement matrix positioned within the core, the reinforcement matrix including longitudinally and laterally extending intersecting members and a plurality of lid feature housings positioned on and attached to the intersecting members, the lid feature housings extending through the core and protruding to the upper and lower surfaces of the lid, and the plurality of longitudinally and laterally extending intersecting members have a height sufficient to provide reinforcement without a perimeter member for the reinforcement matrix.
Safety hatch system
In one embodiment, an electronically controlled hatch system for safe ingress, egress, hazard detection, and methods thereof are provided to reduce or eliminate hazards to personnel, including protection of people above and below a scuttle hatch, access port, skylight or elevated deck. Said hatch system reduces the risk of falls while ascending or descending a ladder through an access port. In certain embodiments, severe weather, hazard, security, and other safety information are detected and transmitted to a central control unit for processing and regulating the opening and closing of a hatch covering the access port and/or raising and lowering a safety railing system based on said information and/or user input. Said hatch system may include an actuator and guides for automatically locking/unlocking and opening/closing a hatch, an actuator and guides for automatically raising/lowering a railing system, safety monitoring detectors/apparatuses, and a centralized controller.
LOCAKABLE MANHOLE COVERS AND METHODS FOR LOCKING A MANHOLE COVER
A lockable manhole cover incudes, for example, a manhole cover installable in an opening in a manhole frame, a locking member attached via a pin and slot arrangement beneath the manhole cover, and a lever pivotally attached to the manhole cover. A lower end portion of the lever is operably engageable with the locking member to move the locking member relative to the manhole cover. The lever is disposable in a lowered position so that an end portion of the locking member is operably engageable with a portion of the manhole frame for use in inhibiting removal of the lockable manhole cover from the manhole frame. The lever is disposable in a raised position so that the end portion of the locking member is operably disengageable with the portion of the manhole frame to allow removal or installation of the lockable manhole cover from or in the manhole frame.
Manhole with height/inclination-adjustable manhole cover
The present disclosure relates to a manhole with a manhole cover that can be adjusted in height and inclination in the entire structure. A manhole with a height/inclination-adjustable manhole cover includes: a manhole cover; a cover base closing the top of the manhole cover and having a pipe shape; a support having a pipe shape and radially overlapping the cover base; and an insertion disposed between the cover base and the support in the radial direction of the cover base and preventing movement of the cover base relative to the support through a wedge effect.

Lid for underground structure
An inner peripheral portion of a receiving frame and an outer peripheral portion of a lid body each include first and second surface parts. In the closed-lid state, the first surface part of the lid body is supported by the first surface part of the frame, each of which include a gentle gradient. The second surface parts of the lid body and the receiving frame are pressed against each other by a force caused by elastic deformation of at least one of the outer peripheral portion of the lid body and the inner peripheral portion of the receiving frame. The second surface part of the receiving frame includes a steeper gradient than the first surface part of the receiving frame by reducing its diameter toward a downward direction of the receiving frame.
