System and method for strengthening a sloped structure such as a berm, basin, levee, embankment, or the like
Embodiments of the invention comprise a system for strengthening a sloped structure such as a berm, basin, levee, or embankment. The comprises first and second opposing sides, the second side being adjacent the sloped structure; a bottom side adjoining bottom edges of the first and second sides, thereby forming a cavity within the first, second, and bottom sides; fill material disposed within the cavity; an impermeable membrane encapsulating at least a portion of the fill material; and a plurality of reinforcing members disposed within the fill material.
Waterproofing method for outdoor tank
The present invention relates to a waterproofing method for an outdoor tank, the waterproofing method being characterized in that the boundary portion between the bottom of the outdoor tank installed on a foundation and the foundation is covered in a liquid tight manner by a waterproof sheet adhered so as to extend from the outdoor tank to the foundation. The present invention can provide a waterproofing method which is effective to prevent the entry of rain water into the boundary portions between the bottoms of outdoor tanks and the foundations, most of the outdoor tanks being large tanks mainly installed in oil refineries or the like. This waterproofing method for an outdoor tank can more reliably waterproof the bottom side of the outdoor tank using the simple method.
DRAIN ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN AN OUTDOOR SETTING
A drain assembly for being placed inground includes a first panel and a second panel spaced-apart from the first panel, a plurality of supports extending between the first panel and the second panel, a bottom or pipe extending between a bottom portion of the first panel and the second panel, and a cap extending between a top portion of the first panel and the second panel. The first panel may define a plurality of drainage apertures. A related method is also provided.
PEEL AND STICK WATERPROOFING MATERIAL
Disclosed is waterproofing sheeting that uses a polyester layer that provides high lateral stability and puncture resistance. The waterproof sheeting can be used in many applications including waterproof roof underlayments, waterproof sheeting for foundations, underlayment for tile and flooring and various other applications. The waterproof sheeting can be manufactured without many of the problems associated with the granular coatings of existing waterproof sheeting that create excessive wear and environmental hazards.
PRE-FORMED FOUNDATION PIER VAPOR BARRIER WRAPAND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING
A pre-formed foundation pier vapor barrier wrap having a lower skirt having a lower interior edge defining an open interior area for receiving a foundation pier; an upper wrap extending vertically upward in a uniform arrangement from the lower interior edge; said lower skirt and said upper wrap each having a first end portion and a second end portion opposite said first end portion, wherein said first end portion includes an overlap portion that overlaps with the second end portion in a closed configuration; a first adhesion strip carried by said overlap portion for bonding and sealing said first end portion to said second end portion in said closed configuration; and, a second adhesion strip carried by said lower skirt extending along a perimeter portion for bonding and sealing to a ground vapor barrier.
Waterproof and Drainage Integrated Board Forming Machine, Waterproof and Drainage Integrated Board and Forming Process Thereof
Disclosed are a waterproof and drainage integrated board, a forming machine and a forming process. A rack is provided with a first concave roller, a convex roller, a second concave roller and a mirror roller, the convex roller rolls relative to the first concave roller and the second concave roller, and the mirror roller rolls relative to the second concave roller. A drainage layer substrate of the present invention is extruded from a first extruder head, immediately follows the second concave roller after shaping to a bottom part, and is directly fused with a waterproof layer just extruded from a second extruder head and formed. By adjusting a gap between the second concave roller and the mirror roller to apply a certain pressure for pressing and calendering, the drainage layer and the waterproof layer are integrated. A hollow boss has good strength, and a bottom surface opening thereof is also closed by the waterproof layer. Even if the boss breaks and leaks, the waterproof layer is present to prevent leakage. In addition, the substrate and the fused waterproof layer has double layer thickness, which further improves the strength and waterproofness thereof.
FREE-FLOWING WATERPROOFING SYSTEM
A water management system provides much improved waterproofing drainage system particularly, but not limited to foundations, new or existing. The includes a form, clean washed stone, soil separating filter cloth, backfilling soil, and drainage pipe to drain out all water away from the structure. This system is easily installed and creates an even wall of gravel around structural walls minimizing the costs of materials making it very cost-effective. This system removes all hydrostatic pressure from structural walls eliminating the cause of water infiltration to the interior of basement walls. Water infiltration in basement walls results in mold, mildew, high humidity, and poor air quality.
Casing accessories
The present disclosure is directed to casing accessories for use with multi-component wall systems. Some of the casing accessories of the present disclosure can include a mounting bracket to attach the accessory to a wall structure and a channel formed in part by a spacer that can be adjusted to adjust the channel width in order to encase components of multi-component wall systems that can vary in width from one installation to another. In another aspect, some of the casing accessories can include one or more drainage canals that direct water from one part of the casing accessories to another. In another aspect, some of the casing accessories can impede fire propagation through multi-component wall systems.
