Drainage grouting pipe and method of use thereof
Provided is a drainage grouting pipe and a method of use thereof. The drainage grouting pipe comprises a perforated steel pipe, a plurality of elastic anti-filtration geotextiles, a movable stopper, and a grouting pipe. The perforated steel pipe consists of a front conical tip, a middle grouting section, a rear hole-free section, and a steel pipe seal. The middle grouting section is provided with a plurality of grouting holes. The surface of the middle grouting section of the perforated steel pipe is seamlessly, and circumferentially wrapped by the plurality of elastic anti-filtration geotextiles, and gaps are formed between adjacent elastic anti-filtration geotextiles. Firstly, the geotechnical layer is drained by a pumping system, and then the grouting position in the geotechnical layer is located and controlled by pulling out the grouting pipe to control the plunging depth of the movable stopper, thus achieving the prevention and treatment of groundwater seepage damage.
System for anchoring a pile or jacket and corresponding method
A system for holding a tubular sleeve (2) in a receiving structure during setting of a cement or other binder introduced in a fluid state between the sleeve (2) and the receiving structure, comprising:—at least one expandable structure (4) mounted on the sleeve (2), deformable from an inactive configuration allowing insertion of the sleeve (2) in the receiving structure to an active configuration immobilizing the sleeve (2) in the receiving structure,—at least one corresponding tool to be inserted in the sleeve (2), configured for acting on the expandable structure (4) to cause it to pass from the inactive configuration to the active configuration.
EXPANDING METAL USED IN FORMING SUPPORT STRUCTURES
Provided is a support structure and a method for manufacture thereof. The support structure, in one aspect, includes first and second expanded metal structural pillars positioned within the ground by a distance (d.sub.1), the first and second expanded metal structural pillars comprising a metal that has expanded in response to hydrolysis. In at least one other aspect, the support structure includes one or more beams spanning the first and second expanded metal structural pillars.
Bracket Attached to a Stainless Steel Anchor For a Compression-Molded Composite Manhole Cover
A custom U-Bracket bolted into a threaded, fastening stainless steel expanding anchor affixed to molded-in attachment holes on a compression-molded, thermoset composite manhole cover to attach, house and protect a sensor, transmitter, and battery pack completely surrounded by the composite cover’s structurally reinforcing ribs.
Pumping unit bases with driven piles
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to a pumping unit base and methods for operating with the pumping unit base. The pumping unit base may include a plurality of driven piles installed in the ground, and a metal platform fixedly attached to the plurality of driven piles, wherein the metal platform is positioned above the ground. The metal platform may be removed from the driven piles and reinstalled to the driven piles.
HELICAL PILE FOUNDATION SYSTEM
A post foundation system is provided. The system has a shaft with a helical disk attached to one end and a post support attached to the other end. The helical disk drives the shaft into the ground as a rotational force is applied to the shaft. A fin section is rotatably coupled about the shaft between its first and second ends. The fin section can have one or more fins extending outwardly from the shaft. The fin section engages the ground to stabilize the post foundation system as the shaft of the post foundation system is driven into the ground.
Apparatus and method for subsea wall insertion
A lead for installing a pile into a seabed floor comprising: an elongated body extending longitudinally along a first axis in a first direction from a top end to a bottom end and configured to receive a pile oriented in the first direction; and a lead indexing foot attached to the bottom end of the elongated body and laterally offset with regard to the first axis.
CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR REINFORCING AND REPAIRING STEEL PIPE PILE FOR OFFSHORE WIND POWER
A construction method for reinforcing and repairing a steel pipe pile for offshore wind power includes the following steps. Installing multiple support ribs on an outer wall of a steel pipe pile to be repaired along a circumferential direction. Placing multiple support plate components on the support ribs and performing splicing along the outer wall of the steel pipe pile to form an annular support plate assembly. Installing multiple hoop cylinder components on the support plate assembly, performing splicing along the outer wall of the steel pipe pile to form an annular hoop cylinder assembly, and forming a grouting cavity between the hoop cylinder assembly and the steel pipe pile. Connecting grouting pipelines to grouting ports of the hoop cylinder assembly, and performing a grouting operation. After grouting, forming a reinforcement and repair structure on the outer wall of the steel pipe pile when grouting materials are solidified.
METHOD FOR FORMING A FOUNDATION IN THE GROUND
A method of forming a foundation in the ground, comprising the steps of—forming a foot (11) in the ground (100); —forming a column (12) made from a load bearing material in the ground (100) on top of the foot (11); and —forming a pile (13) in the material column (12) such that the pile (13) extends down to the material foot (11) or into the material foot (11).
