A segmental wall block, soil reinforcing system, and method related thereto, wherein the wall block may be used for constructing retaining walls. In one embodiment, the segmental wall block may include: a front face; a rear face; a slot disposed along the rear face; a troughed top face; a bottom face; a first and second open core extending from the top face to the bottom face; a first side having a tongue; and an opposing second side having a groove, wherein the tongue is shaped to interlock with the groove. A soil system may include: a wall block component including a first configuration of interlocked segmented wall blocks as described, and a stabilizing component. A method of reinforcing soil may include the steps of: installing a leveling pad of concrete or gravel; and providing a soil stabilizing system.
Assembled recyclable rectangular working well with preset detachable door opening and construction method thereof
A method for constructing an assembled recyclable rectangular working well with preset detachable door openings comprises steps of: (I) designing according to functional requirements for a rectangular working well; (II) constructing by supporting piles; (III) installing prefabricated top beam; (IV) edge protection construction; (V) alternate construction of earthwork excavation, retaining slabs and internal support breast beams; (VI) installing the ladder entering the rectangular working well; (VII) rectangular working well back cover; (VIII) demolition of the detachable subsection support piles in the door part and completing the construction of the assembled recyclable rectangular working well in the preset detachable door hole; (IX) after the operation in the well is completed, during the backfilling process of the rectangular working well, gradually recovering the working well components such as the retaining slab, the internal support girder, the prefabricated crown beam and the supporting piles.
OFF SHORE WIND ENERGY INSTALLATION FOUNDATION SYSTEM
The invention relates to a marine structure comprising a foundation system with three or more suction buckets. The suction buckets are designed to be installed in the seafloor to operate as a foundation or part of it to support an offshore structure resting onto the seafloor. The suction buckets support a connector body and the connector body is designed to support a payload. The invention also relates to a method of installing a suction bucket. During the method, the suction bucket bottom penetrates the seafloor and fluid is removed from the suction space such that penetration proceeds by suction.
Sea walls, retaining walls and like structures using pin piles
A pin pile is disclosed for anchoring sections of sheet pile to form a wall structure. The pin pile has a casing with a plurality of external clutches formed around the periphery. In use other corresponding clutches on the sections of sheet pile can interlock with the external clutches of the pin pile over a range of angles in accordance with a directional extent of said wall structure.
Foundation pile for a wind turbine
The invention relates to a foundation pile comprising a stabilization device that is located within the foundation pile and is connected to at least two inner surface sections of the foundation pile; the stabilization device allows compressive and/or tensile forces to be transmitted such that the stabilization device counteracts lateral deformation and/or torsional deformation of the foundation pile.
Structural steel inner support system in foundation pit
The present invention discloses a structural steel inner support system in a foundation pit which ensures the support density of the structural steel inner support beam of the inner support system for foundation pits and improves structural stability and reliability of inner support of foundation pits. The system includes a purlin assembly, a plurality of vertical force-guiding connecting members including support members, upper force-guiding connecting beams and lower force-guiding connecting beams in the foundation pit; and a structural steel inner support beam and a prestress-pressing member in the foundation pit.
OFFSHORE STRUCTURE
An offshore structure having a foundation structure, wherein the foundation structure has at least a first and a second profile, the first profile is designed as a pile and the second profile is designed as a pile sleeve, the second profile encloses the first profile over a penetration length, wherein an interspace is formed between the first and the second profile, the interspace has a casting compound filling over the total penetration length, shear elements are provided on the first and/or the second profile, the shear elements extend into the interspace and effect an axial load dissipation into the casting compound filling, the shear elements are provided only over a first partial length of the penetration length, the first partial length is between 65 and 90% of the total penetration length and a second partial length is free of shear elements, wherein the second partial length forms the upper length of the penetration length in the installed position.
FOUNDATION SUPPORT SYSTEMS, ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS INCLUDING SLEEVE COUPLER AND SHAFTS WITH TORQUE TRANSMITTING PROFILED DISTAL END EDGES
Coupled shaft assemblies for a foundation support system include shafts provided with profiled distal end edges that may be directly engaged to one another to realize an interlocking torque transmitting relationship with one another along a curved engagement surface. A coupler sleeve may snugly receive the distal ends of the directly engaged shafts and may fasten the shafts to one another through the coupler sleeve with ease in an economical manufacture that does not require non-uniform wall thickness in the shafts to establish torque transmission capability.
METHODS FOR CONSTRUCTING TENSIONLESS CONCRETE PIER FOUNDATIONS AND FOUNDATIONS CONSTRUCTED THEREBY
A tensionless concrete pier foundation for supporting a tower and a method of constructing the same is provided, the foundation having an outer CMP and an inner CMP with an annular space therebetween in which a plurality of sleeved tower anchor bolts are embedded, at least the outer CMP having an upper edge that is flush with the top of the foundation after the tower has been installed. A method of plumbing a tower anchor bolt cage using a bolt alignment ring is also provided that includes coupling the upper ends of the CMPs together with lateral spacing bolts that extend across the annular space. The tower anchor bolt cage is suspended from the lateral spacing bolts by the bolt alignment ring, and the lateral spacing bolts are shimmed on a low side as necessary for leveling the alignment ring and plumbing the bolt cage, before concrete pour.
HELICAL PILE FOUNDATION SYSTEM
A post foundation system is provided. The system has a shaft with a helical disk attached to one end and a post support attached to the other end. The helical disk drives the shaft into the ground as a rotational force is applied to the shaft. A fin section is rotatably coupled about the shaft between its first and second ends. The fin section can have one or more fins extending outwardly from the shaft. The fin section engages the ground to stabilize the post foundation system as the shaft of the post foundation system is driven into the ground.
