Cutting device with wear elements
A cutting device for a cutting head includes a disc, a plurality of cutting elements secured to the disc, and a plurality of wear elements secured to the disc. The disc rotates about an axis of rotation, and the disc includes a peripheral edge. The cutting elements are spaced apart from one another along the peripheral edge of the disc. The wear elements are spaced apart from one another and from the cutting elements.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO PROVIDE PRESSED AND AGGREGATE FILLED CONCAVITIES FOR IMPROVING GROUND STIFFNESS AND UNIFORMITY
Systems and methods to provide pressed aggregate-filled cavities for improving ground stiffness and uniformity are disclosed. According to an aspect, a method includes using a mechanism to press into a ground surface in a substantially downward direction to create a concavity. The method also includes substantially or completely filling the concavity with unstabilized or chemically stabilized aggregate, soil, or sand. Further, the method includes using the mechanism to press the aggregate within the concavity to achieve a desired ground stiffness.
Excavating pump apparatus and pile installation apparatus comprising same
An excavating pump apparatus and a pile installation apparatus having the same are disclosed. An excavating pump apparatus in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention may include: an excavation head being inserted into an inner space of a pile through an open hole opening the inner space of the pile and being configured to crush seafloor sediments and allow the crushed seafloor sediments to be flowed therein; an outlet conduit connected to the excavation head and being a channel for discharging the seafloor sediments flowed into the excavation head to an outside of the pile; and a pump configured to move the seafloor sediments through the outlet conduit by providing a pump pressure to the outlet conduit.

Machine leveling assembly and method
A machine comprising a frame including a front-right portion, a front-left portion, a rear-right portion, and a rear-left portion. The machine includes a first jack coupled with the front-right portion for raising or lowering the front-right portion, a second jack coupled with the front-left portion for raising or lowering the front-left portion, a third jack coupled with the rear-right portion for raising or lowering the rear-right portion, and a fourth jack coupled with the rear-left portion for raising or lowering the rear-left portion. The machine includes a front jack leveling system operatively coupled with the first jack and the second jack. The front jack leveling system controls the first jack and the second jack such that a first movement of the first jack in a first direction corresponds to a second movement of the second jack in a second direction that is opposite from the first direction.
