CONTROLLING MACHINE OPERATION BASED ON VALIDATION OF MACHINE DATA
A device may receive machine data indicating a pose of one or more components of a machine. The machine data may be generated based on first data from one or more first sensor devices associated with the machine. The device may generate validation data to validate the machine data. The validation data may be generated based on second data from a second set of sensor devices. The device may perform a comparison of the machine data and the validation data and determine, based the comparison, whether the machine data is validated or not validated. The device may selectively control an operation of the machine based on the machine data. Based on determining that the machine data is validated, the operation may be controlled based on the machine data. The operation may be controlled without the machine data based on determining that the machine data is not validated.
Motor grader cutting edge wear calibration and warning system
A system, method, and apparatus includes measuring wear of a cutting edge of a blade of a work vehicle. Blade position or calibration measurements are made with or without a cutting edge. A wear condition of the cutting edge is acceptable when the blade position measurement less an acceptable wear to the cutting edge amount is less than a blade calibration measurement. A wear condition of the cutting edge is unacceptable when the blade position measurement less an acceptable wear to the cutting edge amount is greater than a blade calibration measurement. Alternatively, a wear condition of the cutting edge is unacceptable when a blade calibration measurement plus a tolerance margin is greater than the blade position measurement. The wear condition of the cutting edge is acceptable when the blade calibration measurement plus a tolerance margin is less than the blade position measurement.
WORK ASSIST DEVICE FOR WORK MACHINE AND METHOD FOR RECOGNIZING CONSTRUCTION SURFACE AT WORK SITE
A work assist device includes a body coordinates information acquiring unit, a body orientation information acquiring unit, a work member position information acquiring unit, a specific part coordinates computing unit, a placement information receiving unit, a distance information input unit, a construction surface computing unit, a storage unit, and a construction information output unit. The specific part coordinates computing unit can compute absolute coordinates of a specific part of a work member, from acquired information from each acquiring unit. The construction surface computing unit determines an equation for a construction surface in an absolute coordinate system at a work site, from absolute coordinates of three ground reference points at which the specific part is placed in order and three pieces of distance information indicating a distance from the ground reference points to the construction surface.
SHOVEL MANAGEMENT DEVICE, SHOVEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, SHOVEL SUPPORT DEVICE, AND SHOVEL
A shovel management device includes a training part to determine a relationship between operation data of the shovel and an abnormality of the shovel by using, as training data, a data set that includes, among the operation data indicating the operation of the shovel, the operation data corresponding to a period for determining a presence or absence of the abnormality of the shovel as an input and information indicating the absence of the abnormality as an output.
Surroundings monitoring system for work machine
A surroundings monitoring system for a work machine includes a memory and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to detect an obstacle present around the work machine and control an output apparatus mounted on the work machine. The processor is configured to display an output image on a display apparatus. The output image includes an image part generated using a captured image of an image capturing apparatus attached to the work machine and an icon of the work machine. The processor is configured to highlight, among image parts around the icon, an image part corresponding to a direction in which or a position at which the detected obstacle is present.
Work vehicle and control system for work vehicle
A monitor controller configured to control a display content on a display unit is configured to keep displaying a bird's-eye-view image when an operation of an operation device is sensed in the state where the display unit displays the bird's-eye-view image, and to cause the display unit to display the bird's-eye-view image when the operation of the operation device is sensed in the state where the display unit does not display the bird's-eye-view image.
Construction machine having a device for controlling the construction machine and method for controlling a construction machine
A construction machine is provided with a control device having an operating panel with operating elements, which can assume numerous switching states/positions, a control and monitoring unit for controlling machine components via control signals signalling the switching state/position of associated operating elements, and a display/signal unit interacting with the control and monitoring unit. The control device provides first and second signal transmission paths for transmitting a first control signal signalling the switching state/position of a first operating element and a second control signal signalling the switching state/position of a second operating element, respectively. The control signals are checked for the existence of a plausibility criterion. If the plausibility criterion is not met, signal transmission over one or the other signal transmission path is deactivated, wherein the functionality of the relevant component is checked. Switching to emergency operation is only possible after confirmation of the functionality of the relevant component.
WORK MACHINE
A controller of a work machine includes: a service request generation unit that generates and transfers information for requesting a remote service; a service execution condition management unit that confirms and manages the condition for executing the remote service; and an operating mode management unit that manages the operating mode and the operation status of the work machine. The service request generation unit generates service request information containing function types of a plurality of remote services, the operating mode of the vehicle, and the communication performance of the communication network, and transfers it to the data center. For each function type included in the service request information, the service execution condition management unit outputs service execution information containing the execution possibility, the condition for operating mode, and the condition for communication performance.
SHOVEL, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A disclosed shovel includes a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic actuator driven by hydraulic fluid supplied from the hydraulic pump, an electric motor configured to drive the hydraulic pump, a power storage device configured to be chargeable with power from an external power source to supply driving power to the electric motor, an input device configured to receive input from a user, an imaging device configured to acquire information about surroundings of the shovel, and a control device configured to set a target value of a charge amount of the power storage device, the power storage device being charged with power supplied from the external power source, in response to a predetermined input received by the input device.
