Ground Engaging Machine

A ground engaging tooth for a ground engaging machine is disclosed. The ground engaging tooth may comprise a non-ground-engaging end, a ground-engaging end, a body extending between the non-ground-engaging end, the ground-engaging end, a top surface, a bottom surface, a left surface and a right surface. Further, the ground engaging tooth may comprise a coupling side including a pocket configured to receive a retaining device. Moreover, the ground engaging tooth may comprise a wear side including an integral-wear-insert. The integral-wear-insert may longitudinally extend along the bottom surface towards the ground-engaging end and vertically extend towards the top surface at the ground-engaging end.

WEAR RESISTANT COATING

A wear resistant coating and a method of forming a wear resistant coating on a substrate. The method includes applying a plurality of round particles to the substrate, each of the plurality of round particles including a round outer layer encapsulating a wear resistant element. The method comprises applying a wear resistant coating binder to the substrate. The method includes heating the plurality of round particles and the wear resistant coating binder.

COUPLER FOR AN IMPLEMENT ASSEMBLY

The present invention is related to a coupler for detachably coupling to a work tool is provided. The coupler includes a frame with a first aperture formed therein. The first aperture extends along a first axis inclined with respect to a transverse axis of the frame. The coupler further includes a first locking member provided within the first aperture. The coupler also includes an actuator configured to move the first locking member between an unlocked position in which first locking member is disengaged from the work tool, and a locked position in which the first locking member is engaged with the work tool.

WEAR PART FOR EARTH WORKING EQUIPMENT

An articulated lock for securing a wear member to earth-working equipment includes a plurality of bodies interconnected for pivotal movement between an extended orientation with the bodies aligned and a retracted orientation with the bodies folded. The lock in the extended orientation can engage an opening of the wear member at an inner hold position to secure the wear member to the earth-working equipment or an outer release position. In the folded orientation the lock disengages from the opening of the wear member. Each body has a slot and a tab and, in the extended orientation, the tab of each body is received in the slot of the other body to limit separation of the bodies.

WORK IMPLEMENT ASSEMBLY USING A CENTER ADAPTER MATING WITH A NOTCHED BASE EDGE

An adapter includes a first leg, a second leg, and a throat portion that define a slot defining a direction of assembly onto a work implement assembly, a lateral direction that is perpendicular to the direction of assembly, and a vertical direction that is perpendicular to the direction of assembly and the lateral direction. The throat portion further includes a first throat side surface disposed along the lateral direction and a second throat side surface disposed on the opposite side of the throat portion along the lateral direction. The first throat side surface defines a first adapter cover receiving recess.

Retainer sleeve

A retainer sleeve for use with a lock in a ground engaging tool. The retainer sleeve can include a skirt extending part way around a retainer axis to form a portion of an annulus. The retainer sleeve can further include a plurality of legs joined to the skirt and formed to mate with a lock cavity of the ground engaging tool. The plurality of legs can form an inner surface shaped to rotatably receive an outer surface of the lock.

Retention system for attaching tool bits to a blade assembly

A tool bit includes a shank portion defining a longitudinal axis, a free end, and a perimeter, at least one anti-rotation feature on the perimeter extending to the free end, and a cross-hole defining a cross-hole axis along which the cross-hole extends through the shank portion. The tool bit also including a working portion extending downwardly axially from the shank portion. The working portion includes a rear region, a front working region defining a width with a midpoint, a first side region and a second side region. The first side region and the second side region define an angle of extension measured in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The cross-hole axis pass through the width of the front working region when projected onto a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.

LOCK FOR SECURING A WEAR MEMBER FOR EARTH WORKING EQUIPMENT

An articulated lock for securing a wear member to earth-working equipment includes a plurality of bodies interconnected for pivotal movement between an extended orientation with the bodies aligned and a retracted orientation with the bodies folded. The lock in the extended orientation can engage an opening of the wear member at an inner hold position to secure the wear member to the earth-working equipment or an outer release position. In the folded orientation the lock disengages from the opening of the wear member. Each body has a slot and a tab and, in the extended orientation, the tab of each body is received in the slot of the other body to limit separation of the bodies.

A wear detection system can be configured to capture a video stream from a camera associated with a work machine. The video stream includes a plurality of images associated with a bucket with a plurality of teeth of the work machine. The system can also be configured to segment the plurality of images using a bucket-tool template including a template image of the bucket having a plurality of unworn tools and select an image for wear detection based on the segmenting. The system is also configured to identify the plurality of teeth in the selected image based at least in part on locations of the plurality of unworn tools in the bucket-tool template. The system is also configured to determine a wear level for the plurality of teeth by comparing the plurality of teeth from the selected image with the plurality of unworn tools from the bucket-tool template.
