WATER QUALITY MONITORING METHOD FOR WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM, WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM, AND REFRIGERATION APPARATUS

The present application relates to the technical field of water quality monitoring for water supply systems, and provides a water quality monitoring method for a water supply system, a water supply system, and a refrigeration apparatus. The water quality monitoring method for a water supply system includes: controlling to convey water to a water outlet pipe of the water supply system; obtaining a water quality parameter in the water outlet pipe; judging whether the water quality parameter meets a standard; if the water quality parameter meets the standard, ending the monitoring; if the water quality parameter does not meet the standard, proceeding to a next operation; controlling to drain the water in the water supply system; and repeating the above obtaining operation, judging operation, and draining operation, until the water quality parameter meets the standard. Through this method, the water quality parameter in the water outlet pipe may be monitored in real time, and it is controlled to drain the water in the water supply system when the water quality parameter exceeds the standard, thereby avoiding the breeding and deposition of organic matter. Moreover, this method may avoid drainage and flushing of the water supply system after a long period of inactivity, reduce operational difficulties and improve user convenience.

Automated device for saving shower water

The invention relates to a water-saving device which is fully automated and comprises a complete electronic control system, the possibility of connection to the aqueduct supply network and a hydraulic generator for saving energy. The device according to the invention communicates with a modular system that optionally reduces the water flow of the shower to 50% and diverts the other 50% to the storage tank, by means of the electronic interface. The device according to the invention is applicable in the construction industry.

Drain diverted dirty water and continuously circulated clean water system
11352770 · 2022-06-07 ·

According to embodiments of the present disclosure is a water delivery system that continuously flows and recirculates clean water, diverting only water that has touched a user's hands. No sensing is required to activate the water flow and the actions of the user effectively divert the dirty water to a drain. The water delivery system comprises a clean water outlet, a clean water inlet, a dirty water drain, and a circulation pump. A stream of water continuously flows from the outlet and is received by the water inlet if the stream is uninterrupted. If the stream is disturbed, such as by the hand washing activities of the user, the stream is diverted from the inlet and instead falls into a sink and into the drain.

Shower water catcher

A water-saving apparatus provides a means to reduce residential shower water waste by catching open-to-touch showerhead spray water via an interior shower/tub surround-wall catch member, such as a tray, funnel or gutter, before the water contacts the shower floor during shower water startup and shower idle times, and directs the water into a holding member, such as a bucket, tank or container, so it can be later repurposed.

Low-cost water production system

A water production system including a radiative cooling/heating unit comprising an oscillating heat pipe (OHP) heat spreader. The radiative cooling/heating unit lowers the temperature of the OHP heat spreader below the temperature of the ambient environment. The system additionally including a first OHP heat exchanger thermally connected to the OHP heat spreader such that the first OHP heat exchanger will acquire substantially the same temperature as the OHP heat spreader, a second OHP heat exchanger thermally connected to the OHP heat spreader such that the second OHP heat exchanger will acquire substantially the same temperature as the OHP heat spreader, and a rotatable OHP water absorption bed disposed in thermal contact with the radiative cooling/heating unit such that the OHP absorption bed will acquire substantially the same temperature as the OHP heat spreader.

Cartridge assembly for diverting flow

The present invention provides a cartridge assembly having a cartridge shell. The cartridge assembly permits flow from a flow source to be regulated by the cartridge assembly to flow along a first flow path or along a second flow path. Flow along the first flow path enters through a first end of the cartridge shell and exits through at least one opening in the cartridge shell. Flow along the second flow path enters through the first end of the cartridge shell and is diverted to exit through the first end of the cartridge shell.

Shower water saver

A water saving apparatus for use in a shower stall that has shower walls and a handheld shower head includes a basin having a rear wall, two side walls, a front wall, a bottom wall, and a top wall. All of the walls defines an internal volume. The front wall is open to accept the handheld shower head therethrough. A drain pipe is fixed through the basin and directed to a collection point. In some embodiments, the water saving apparatus includes a side compartment for holding items such as shampoo bottles and the like. In use, with the basin mounted with the shower stall, the handheld shower head is placed into the internal volume to collect water exiting the handheld shower head and direct the water by gravity to the collection point until the water exiting the showerhead is at a desired temperature.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POINT OF USE WATER MODIFICATION

A water use management system may be installed in a setting that contains a primary infrastructure for water use to provide an alternate, modular infrastructure for water use. Fresh water used at various points of use, such as a shower or sink, may be modified by a point of use water conditioner. Water may be modified at the point of use based upon pre-configured routines or manual user selections. Treatments performed on the water may include quality treatments, such as modifying the pH or mineral content, and may also include experience treatments, such as the addition of scents, colors, carbonation, or health and beauty supplements. Additives used during treatment are provided in cartridges that may be inserted and removed from the water conditioner. Cartridges may self-identify when inserted, to aid in compatibility and usability determinations and recycling/recertification processes.
