SHOWER WATER CATCHER
20200181891 · 2020-06-11 ·

A water-saving apparatus provides a means to reduce residential shower water waste by catching open-to-touch showerhead spray water via an interior shower/tub surround-wall catch member, such as a tray, funnel or gutter, before the water contacts the shower floor during shower water startup and shower idle times, and directs the water into a holding member, such as a bucket, tank or container, so it can be later repurposed.

A water conservation system for use in a building comprises a water supply pipe, water-consuming equipment, a water-consuming equipment outlet pipe, an intermediate water inlet pipe, an intermediate water collection pipe, an intermediate water outlet pipe, an intermediate water outlet valve, an intermediate water overflow pipe, and a sewage pipe. The intermediate water collection pipe is installed in the building, and a water inlet and outlet of the intermediate water collection pipe is pre-arranged at every floor. The intermediate water outlet pipe and the intermediate water inlet pipe communicates with the water inlets and outlets of the intermediate water collection pipe, respectively. The intermediate water outlet pipe communicates with a toilet water tank. A first check valve is disposed on the intermediate water inlet pipe.

DRINKING WATER ECONOMIZER
20200080289 · 2020-03-12 · ·

The invention relates to an economizer device having an expansion vessel provided with a pressure sensor Cp, a temperature sensor CT on a hot-water intake Ec, four valves, a non-return valve preventing the water from the cold-water intake EF from entering the expansion vessel, and an electronic board connected to the sensors and to the valves. The economizer device stores the cooled water coming from the hot-water intake in the expansion vessel until the water reaches a set temperature that is sufficient for supplying a point of use of a domestic installation using hot water. When the expansion vessel fills, the stored cooled water is preferably used as cold water to supply either the point of use with cold water or else another domestic installation provided to use cold water.

AUTOMATED DEVICE FOR SAVING SHOWER WATER

The invention relates to a water-saving device which is fully automated and comprises a complete electronic control system, the possibility of connection to the aqueduct supply network and a hydraulic generator for saving energy. The device according to the invention communicates with a modular system that optionally reduces the water flow of the shower to 50% and diverts the other 50% to the storage tank, by means of the electronic interface. The device according to the invention is applicable in the construction industry.

Hot water delivery
10519633 · 2019-12-31 · ·

A domestic pipe system for delivery of hot water includes hot water source (10) and a piping to a faucet (12). The piping comprises a splitter (14), two pipes (20, 22) and a controller (16), the controller having a housing, first and second inlets (24, 26), an outlet (28), and a thermally actuated valve. The first inlet is a permanently open inlet whereas the second inlet is opened depending on the temperature of water arriving at the controller. Stagnant water that cooled down only runs through the first pipe (20) until the temperature exceeds a preset threshold. Than the controller (16) opens the second inlet such that the stagnant cold water from the second pipe can be mixed gradually with the hot water from the first pipe. Thus, the user receives warm water earlier than if both pipes need to be emptied.

WATER DIVERSION ASSEMBLY
20190382988 · 2019-12-19 ·

The water diversion assembly of the present invention herein diverts and preserves the water supply when water supply is currently below the threshold temperature. The present invention relates to a water diversion assembly having a hot water inlet connected to a hot water supply and a cold water inlet connected to a cold water supply. An appliance outlet, for use by the user of an appliance, is configured to connect and deliver a water mix at an outlet temperature. The appliance outlet is in fluid communication with the hot water inlet, the cold water inlet, and a water collection outlet. Within the water diversion assembly, a thermostatic diversion valve having a hot water threshold temperature setting and arranged such that water from the hot water supply via the hot water inlet is delivered to the water collection outlet until the hot water threshold temperature is reached and then thermostatically diverted to a thermostatic mixing valve.

EFFICIENT SHOWERHEAD WITH PURGE OUTLET
20240091796 · 2024-03-21 ·

A showerhead system with a normally open, temperature controlled first water valve coupled between a hot water source supply inlet and a purge outlet. The first water valve is configured to move from its normally open position to a closed position to restrict water passing from the hot water source supply inlet to the purge outlet when the temperature controlled water valve reaches a predetermined temperature. In a first mode, the first water valve purges water from the hot water source supply inlet through the purge outlet until the thermal actuator reaches the predetermined temperature. In a second mode, the first water valve blocks water entering the first water valve from passing through the purge outlet toward the showerhead outlet. In an optional third mode, a normally closed, manual second water valve is open and passes water through the showerhead outlet.
