Frozen pipe alert
A method for determining whether water contained within a water pipe system in a building is at risk of freezing is disclosed. The method is carried out by a detector device comprising a processor. The method comprises determining a plurality of pipe temperature measurements using a temperature sensor. The processor analyses the pipe temperature measurements to detect whether a water draw has occurred. An exterior building environment temperature is compared to a predetermined freeze alert threshold. If the processor detects that (i) a water draw has not occurred; and (ii) the indicative temperature of the exterior building environment is lower than the predetermined freeze alert threshold, an alert is transmitted.
Freezeless outdoor shower
A freezeless outdoor shower assembly that is self-draining to prevent freezing and damage to the assembly when the assembly is exposed to cold and freezing weather. The assembly includes a riser coupled to a self-draining riser coupler assembly which drains water from the assembly when water from a water source it turned off. Preferably the freezeless outdoor shower assembled is coupled to an outdoor freezeless hydrant providing hot and cold water.

Injector for reductant delivery unit having fluid volume reduction assembly
A fluid injector includes a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a fluid path from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet. An actuator unit is disposed within the fluid injector. A valve assembly operatively couples to the actuator unit. A spacer member is disposed between a downstream end portion of the actuator unit and a portion of the valve assembly, the spacer member constructed from a compressible, resilient material so as to compress due to expansion forces from fluid in the fluid injector freezing, and to expand when frozen fluid in the fluid injector melts. The spacer member occupies a space in the fluid path of the fluid injector.
Frost Protection Apparatus for Water Supply Apparatus in Recreational Vehicles
Specified is a water supply apparatus, a mixing apparatus (1) being provided for mixing, in a mixing container (3), water conveyed in the mixing apparatus (1). Arranged relative to the mixing container (3) is a base apparatus (2) which has a base chamber (9) that is hydraulically connected to a water pipe (11, 12, 13) of the water supply apparatus and has an opening to the surroundings. A sealing device (10) is installed in the base chamber (9) for the purpose of closing off the opening of the base chamber (9) from the surroundings. The sealing device (10) has a weak point wall region (17) whose pressure strength is lower than the pressure strength of wall regions of all the other components of the water supply apparatus which, in the operating state, enclose cavities that can be filled with water, and which separate these cavities that can be filled with water from the surroundings.

Conduit Connector
The disclosure relates to a conduit connector for a fluid line, having a housing, which has at least one first connection geometry and one second connection geometry, each for connecting to a fluid line. In the housing, a fluid-conducting channel is formed between the first connection geometry and the second connection geometry. In order to avoid damage due to freezing of a liquid located in the channel or the connected fluid lines, the housing has a volume equalization device, which is connected to the channel.

Freeze prevention valve
A freeze prevention valve comprising a body having an inlet (14) and an outlet (16) for fluid to exit the valve in an open condition, a valve seat (18) provided adjacent an opening (22) of the valve, a piston member (20) that is movable in the body, the piston member comprising a piston shaft and a piston head (24), the piston head (24) arranged to seat against the valve seat (18) in a closed condition of the valve, a temperature sensing device (26) comprising a temperature sensitive element (28), operatively associated with the piston head (24), wherein the temperature sensitive element contracts and expands when the temperature of the fluid sensed by the temperature sensing device decreases or increases, wherein contraction of the temperature sensitive element allows the return spring (30) to move the piston member to unseat the piston head from the valve seat and thereby open the valve.
Protection device for wall faucets
A wall faucet is disclosed which has an elongated section of a PEX tube inserted into the water inlet pipe of the wall faucet. The PEX tube is capable of expanding should there be water in the water inlet pipe during freezing temperatures thereby preventing the water inlet pipe from bursting.
