AN ADAPTER CAP FOR A FIRE HYDRANT, A FIRE HYDRANT AND A METHOD FOR REMOTE MONITORING AN OPEN-CLOSE STATUS OF A FIRE HYDRANT
An adapter cap for a fire hydrant including a hydrant actuation nut by means of which the hydrant is opened and closed by rotating the hydrant actuation nut, where the adapter cap includes a cap housing having connection means for connecting the adapter cap to the hydrant actuation nut, the cap housing having a cap actuation nut by which the adapter cap may be engaged and the cap housing including a skirt part arranged to encircle at least a part of the connection means, wherein a connection means centre axis of the connection means and a cap actuation nut centre axis of the cap actuation nut are arranged coaxially, wherein the connection means and the cap actuation nut are made from metal, and wherein at least a part of the skirt part is made from a polymer material, the adapter cap further includes at least one sensor arranged in the cap housing-(4), wherein the at least one sensor is arranged to detect at least one operational parameter of the hydrant , and wireless communication means arranged in the cap housing for communicating the at least one operational parameter wirelessly to an external data system .
UNIVERSAL MULTI-PARAMETER REMOTE WATER MONITORING SYSTEM
A remote hydraulic and water quality monitoring and telemetry device for being connected to a fire hydrant. The device connects to a hydrant nozzle via a swivel connection and includes a control valve mounted inside the nozzle to conserve space and release a determined volume of water from the hydrant lateral pipe to provide a sample from the main line pipe. The device includes a multi-parameter water quality sonde or sensors, data acquisition, and telemetry hardware. The door of the enclosure may include a solar panel. The device may rest on a plate mounted to the hydrant riser flange after the hydrant and upper hydrant valve stem are removed. The device may rest on the ground and be connected to a hydrant nozzle by a rotating pipe assembly which can be adjusted to be positioned at locations around the hydrant and at varying elevations relative to the hydrant nozzle.

EXTENDABLE STAND PIPE AND FLEX JOINT MODULES
The disclosure teaches an adjustable/extendable piping system/module for associating fluid access products (such as fire hydrants) to a buried fluid source. The piping system defines an adjustable configuration that allows for the overall length of the piping system to be modified to compensate for different bury depths. The disclosure further teaches a flex module configured for associating a fluid product with a piping system connected to a fluid source. The flex module is configured to flex a predefined amount to prevent damage to the system from low energy impacts.

WATERTIGHT CHECK VALVE
A check valve can include a valve body defining a valve bore, the valve body comprising an annular body and a cross member secured to and extending in a radial direction across the valve bore from the annular body on one side of the valve body to the annular body on an opposite side of the valve body, the valve bore at the cross member divided into more than one portion by the cross member; a position block extending from the cross member; a pair of valve members, each valve member of the pair of valve members positioned within the valve body and configured to rotate between open and closed positions; and a pivot pin positioned within the valve body and extending through the position block and each valve member of the pair of valve members, the pivot pin being supported only by the position block.

BACKFLOW AND BREAKAWAY CHECK VALVE
A dual plate backflow and breakaway check valve designed to mount above grade. The dual plate check valve includes a barrel assembly having an upper portion, a lower portion and an annular groove. An upper dual valve includes an upper front plate and an upper back plate. A lower dual valve includes a lower front plate and a lower back plate. A lower valve keeper bar moves up from between a plurality of lower valve stay tabs upon breakage of the annular groove thereby allowing the lower front plate and the lower back plate to rotate about a lower valve pin and closing the lower dual valve upon a lower barrel bevel and simultaneously allowing the upper front plate and the upper back plate to rotate about an upper valve pin and closing upon an upper barrel bevel.

SANITARY HYDRANT
A sanitary hydrant comprises an isolated reservoir that can be positioned below a freeze level at the location of installation. A piston within the isolated reservoir is operable to expel, during a downward stroke, stored fluid from the reservoir before actuating a valve that allows fluid to flow from a fluid supply source through the hydrant. On an upward stroke, the piston releases the valve and generates a negative pressure within the reservoir that draws fluid from within the hydrant into the reservoir.
