Flood Prevention Apparatus
20170306598 · 2017-10-26 ·

A flood prevention apparatus for a sanitary ware product such as a bath or the like. The flood prevention apparatus comprises a multi chamber drain and an overflow apparatus. The multi chamber drain comprises a body defining at least a first and a second chamber therein. Openings into the body define a first outlet port and a second outlet port. Each of the first and second outlet ports are vertically and horizontally displaced relative to each other. The first outlet port is in fluid communication with the first chamber and the second outlet port is in fluid communication with the second chamber. The first and second outlet ports are each connectable to associated first and second pipe sections of the overflow apparatus. The overflow apparatus comprises a first pipe section configured to attach to the first outlet port and a second pipe section configured to attach to the second outlet port. The first and second pipe sections provide substantially vertical pipe sections. The first and second pipe sections are joined in continuous fluid communication by an inverted U-shaped passage, which includes a normally open air valve at its summit. The air valve is operable to control flow of water through the apparatus in a non-siphonic state.

A tub spout assembly is configured to be supported within the overflow opening in the sidewall of a bathtub. The tub spout assembly illustratively includes an overflow body defining an overflow passageway, and an inlet tube supported by the overflow body and defining an inlet passageway. A spout is fluidly coupled to the inlet tube and defines a spout outlet to dispense water from the inlet tube into the bathtub. A spout cover illustratively receives the spout and includes an inner wall defining at least one opening. The at least one opening is illustratively in fluid communication with the overflow passageway and the inlet passageway. Illustratively, a diverter assembly is supported by the spout and is configured to selectively open and close fluid communication between the inlet passageway to the spout outlet.

DRAIN FIXTURE

This disclosure provides a drain fitting having a discharge potion comprising a chamber formed by walls extending between and around an inlet and an outlet, the inlet being wider than the outlet or having a greater cross-sectional area than the outlet and the walls having interior surfaces sloping inwardly between the inlet and outlet.

Vessel with recessed soap dish and integrated overflow drain
09737176 · 2017-08-22 ·

A vessel, such as a bathtub or sink, has a soap dish recessed in the inside wall of the vessel. The recessed soap dish is connected to the overflow drain of the vessel. The soap dish is large enough to receive a bar of soap. The overflow drain holes in the bottom of the soap dish are small enough to prevent the bar of soap from falling into the overflow drain. The recessed soap dish can be placed in the front of the vessel so that the soap dish is hidden from view. The front of the sink is the surface opposing the faucet. The front of the bathtub is the surface that a bather steps over to enter the bathtub.

A mop washing bucket has a container with an interior volume defined by a bottom and a wall extending upwardly from the bottom, a fluid inlet affixed adjacent to the bottom of the container, and a fluid outlet formed on the container in a location above the fluid inlet. The fluid inlet is adapted to be connected to a water hose. The fluid inlet extends through the wall of the container so as to have one end in the interior volume of the container and another end exterior of the wall of the container. The fluid outlet is adapted to allow water from the interior volume of the container to flow outwardly of the container.

Drain control assembly

A drain control assembly for moving a drain valve assembly between an open position and a closed position through movement of a cable. The drain control assembly includes a driven member having a pivot end and a distal end that is configured to receive an end of the cable; a driving member defining a longitudinal axis; and a housing having a first cavity for receiving the driving member and a second cavity for receiving the driven member; wherein the driving member is configured to move in one of a linear manner or a rotational manner; and wherein the driven member is configured to rotate about the pivot end if the driving member moves in a linear manner and the driven member is configured to rotate about the pivot end if the driving member moves in a rotational manner.

OVERFLOW VALVE COVER

An overflow valve cover includes a planar surface having a first surface and an opposing second surface. The planar surface includes a plurality of openings spaced apart along on the planar surface. An angled slat is positioned within each of the plurality of openings. A top edge of a collar is affixed to the circumference of the planar surface. A connector is positioned on the inner surface of the planar surface and extending away from the second surface.
