LEAK-PROOF WATER VALVE OF TOILET TANK
A leak-proof water valve includes a water inner tube, an outer tube group and a buoyant housing. When the sealing plug of the toilet tank is leaking, leak-proof structure of a buoyant housing for automatically detection is provided to stop the water inlet valve supplying water, so that a user could be aware of the leaking situation to thereby avoid the waste of water resources.
Human powered grey water toilet retrofit system and method
A grey water toilet system utilizing a pedal interface to trigger the toilet flush and to resupply the toilet tank with grey water. The grey water is generally collected from a nearby water fixture such as a wash basin and placed in a storage reservoir until the user flushes the toilet. This invention can be used to retrofit most existing toilets without the need for remodeling thus making it possible to expand the use of grey water for toilets, potentially leading the way for significant fresh water savings. It is estimated that the average American residence uses in the range of 100,000 gallons of water annually and that more water is used to flush toilets than any other individual activity.

Flush water tank apparatus and flush toilet apparatus provided with the same
There are provided a flush water tank apparatus capable of accurately setting the amount of flush water to be discharged while opening a discharge valve by a discharge valve hydraulic drive unit. A flush water tank apparatus includes a valve controller, where, in a case where a first amount of flush water is selected, the valve controller causes the timing control mechanism to be engaged with the discharge valve and causes the timing control mechanism to operate such that engagement is released after a lapse of a first period of time, and in a case where a second amount of flush water is selected, the valve controller causes the timing control mechanism to be engaged with the discharge valve and causes the timing control mechanism to operate such that engagement is released after lapse of a second period of time shorter than the first period of time.
Flush water tank apparatus and flush toilet apparatus provided with the same
The present invention is a flush water tank apparatus (4) and includes: a storage tank (10) on which a drain port (10a) is formed, a discharge valve (12) opening/closing the drain port; a discharge valve hydraulic drive unit (14) driving the discharge valve using water supply pressure; a clutch mechanism (30) coupling the discharge valve and the discharge valve hydraulic drive unit to pull up the discharge valve; flush water amount selection device capable of selecting between a first and a second amount of flush water; a timing control mechanism controlling a timing of the drain port being blocked; and a control jet unit (20) jetting, when the second amount is selected, flush water to a water receiving surface provided on the timing control mechanism so that a timing of the drain port being blocked is earlier than a case of the first amount of flush water.
Flush water tank apparatus and flush toilet apparatus provided with the same
A flush water tank apparatus enabling accurately setting an amount of flush water to be discharged while opening a discharge valve via a discharge valve hydraulic drive unit and a flush toilet apparatus including the flush water tank are provided. A flush water tank apparatus includes a first float device; a second float device that prevents from descent of the discharge valve according to the water level so as to discharge a second amount of flush water; and an adjustment mechanism configured so that when the second amount of flush water is selected by the flush water amount selection portion the clutch mechanism is disconnected at a pull-up height of the discharge valve such that the discharge valve descended by the disconnection of the clutch mechanism is held by the second float device in a holding state.
UNIVERSAL CANISTER FLUSH VALVE
A universal canister flush valve having a valve body configured to he fixed relative to a toilet tank and having a hollow wall defining an internal flow passage; a guide post coupled to and extending away from the valve body; a float fitted about and configured to slide relative to the guide post between a closed position and an open position, the float having an open top; and an extender that selectively couples to the open top in a first position, in which a first end of the extender is received in and coupled to the open top, and in a second position, in which a second end of the extender is received in and coupled to the open top, wherein the extender and float define a first overflow height in the first position and define a second overflow height in the second position.
Flush water tank apparatus and flush toilet apparatus provided with the same
The flush water tank apparatus of the present invention includes: a clutch mechanism 30 coupling the discharge valve 12 and the discharge valve hydraulic drive unit 14 to pull up the discharge valve, and being disconnected at a predetermined timing to cause the discharge valve to descend; flush water amount selection device capable of selecting from a first and a second amounts of flush water; a float device 26 including a float and a holding mechanism switchable between a holding and a non-holding states in conjunction with movement of the float; and a timing control mechanism controlling a timing of a drain port 10a being blocked; and, when the second amount is selected, causes the second amount of flush water to be discharged by switching the holding mechanism to the non-holding state before a water level in a storage tank drops to a predetermined water level.
ONE-PIECE TOILET WITH FLUSH VALVE
A toilet having a one piece structure, a flush valve, and a seal. The structure includes a base having a fluid channel in fluid communication with a bowl; a tank having an internal compartment; a wall disposed between the tank and the base, the wall having an opening fluidly connecting the internal compartment and the fluid channel; and a retaining structure in the internal compartment. The flush valve has a valve body including an inner wall, which is disposed in the opening and extends from a first end in fluid communication with the internal compartment to a second end in fluid communication with the fluid channel, and a locking flange extending radially outward from the inner wall, the locking flange being retained between the retaining structure and the wall in a locking position. The seal is disposed between the locking flange and one of the wall or the retaining structure.
