Toilet like device, which saves water through the separation of solid and liquid depositions, in a hygienic, comfortable, simple, autonomous and aesthetic manner. It's composed by a main toilet body, which has an open space within itself, connected to the main toilet bowl, a space which is open in its front and superior sides. This space works as a water and urine recipient, the water and urine come from the urinal, which at the same time works as a drainage for urine and water. This space also works as a liquid recipient when the urinal is in vertical position, since it is very likely that, after a liquid deposition, the urinal needs to be raised towards a vertical position, for various different reasons. Any liquid remaining in the urinal falls into this space, without going into the rest toilet body, and much less onto the user.

UNIVERSAL COMMODE SYSTEM

A universal commode system (UCS) is provided and includes an air/liquid separator, a urine line connected to the air/liquid separator, a fan, a cabin air return line connected to the air/liquid separator and to the fan, a commode line connected to the cabin air return line, a first motor coupled to the air/liquid separator and configured to drive an operation of the air/liquid separator and a second motor independent of the first motor, coupled to the fan and configured to drive an operation of the fan.

Toilet system for detecting tags in pharmaceutical and nutritional products which are excreted in solid waste

We disclose a toilet system which analyzes solid waste to detect tags which were associated with pharmaceutical or nutritional products and excreted in the solid waste of a user. The toilet system may include a receptacle for receiving solid waste, a liquid dispenser for providing a liquid to assist in dispersing the solid waste, a solid waste dispersing system which may mix the solid waste with the liquid thereby homogenizing the solid waste, and an electromagnetic signature detector which may analyze the tags in the solid waste. The electromagnetic signature detector may include a selective binding surface which may bind tags present in the solid waste and which may be connected to a transducer which senses the presence of bound tags.

TOILET THAT ALLOWS THE SEPARATION OF SOLID AND LIQUID WASTE, COMPRISING A BOWL, THE REAR PART OF WHICH IS EQUIPPED WITH A RETRACTABLE URINAL THAT IS ACTUATED BY MEANS OF A MECHANICAL, ELECTROMECHANICAL, HYDRAULIC OR REMOTE MECHANISM

The present application is directed to a toilet that allows the separation of solid and liquid waste. This toilet, when activated, releases a retractable urinal that pivots inside the toilet bowl, covering the water visible in the bowl, allowing liquid waste to flow through the retractable urinal through a flexible hose which connects directly to the drain, avoiding the siphon and without the need to apply a discharge of water. In case that a water discharge is wanted to use in the retractable urinal, it is possible, and it is a significantly less amount than that used for solid waste, as it is only the discharge of water necessary to wash the walls of the retractable urinal, and not the 4.2 liters needed to activate the toilet siphon.

An apparatus and method for a toilet which minimizes water usage and that can handle both urine and fecal matter. An ultrasonic vibration cleaner unit is disposed to clean at least one fecal plate which is rotated into a lower part of a toilet bowl containing water. Occasional and periodic flushing of solid fecal matter results in less water usage than utilizing water flushing for cleaning and carrying away of solid fecal matte each time of use.

HUMAN WASTE COLLECTION AND SEPARATION SYSTEM

System and method for collection and separation of human waste are described. The system can include a vessel (102) configured to receive human waste and a solids separator (106). The solids separator can include a vacuum tank as well as an inlet chamber formed within the vacuum tank at the top portion, a solids containment portion formed in the base of the vacuum tank and positioned centrally within the vacuum tank, a liquid containment portion formed in the base of the vacuum tank and contained within the vacuum tank surrounding the solids containment portion, and a separating filter having a cylindrical tubular shape and extending from the inlet chamber outlet to the solids containment portion. The separating filter forming a central separation volume within the vacuum tank. The inlet chamber is configured to receive the combined waste via an inlet (132) and to direct the combined waste to the central separation volume. The liquid portion of the combined waste allowed to flow through the separating filter to an outer portion surrounding the central separation volume and to collect in the liquid containment portion of the base. The solids portion of the combined waste contained within the central separation volume and collected in the solids containment portion of the base.
