LINEAR DRAIN ASSEMBLY
A linear drain assembly is provided. The linear drain assembly includes a base portion, a first peripheral portion slidable relative to the base portion, and a sealing member disposed between the first peripheral portion and the base portion forming a seal between the base portion and the first peripheral portion.
Method for temporarily closing off a gutter being covered by a grate of a paved part of the earth's surface; as well as a closing organ for a gutter
A grate (111)-covered gutter (110) of a paved part of the earth's surface (100) is temporarily closed off by means of a closing organ (130), the gutter (110) being connected to a sewage pipe (120). Thus, the draining away of contaminating liquid can be prevented. The closing organ (130) includes a valve (131 fitted rotatably in the gutter (110). The valve (131) can be in a first stable position wherein the valve (131) seals. The valve can also be in a second stable position in which the valve (131) releases the gutter (110) for the discharge of liquid (rainwater) to the sewage pipe.
Settling basin insert
A settling basin insert for controlling fluid flow into a settling basin has a first and second side wall in opposition, and a top surface extending between the first and second side walls, defining a sump extending from head to end. Fluid apertures extend through the top surface to permit fluid to communicate with the sump and an access aperture in the top surface permits a vacuum hose to pass into the sump. The first side wall is taller than the second side wall, and the first and second side walls each define a guide wall extending above the top surface. The second side wall is configured to be adjacent the settling basin. The first and second side walls direct inflowing fluid along the settling basin insert and through the fluid apertures in the top surface, decelerating the fluid for settling of sediment in the settling basin insert.
Trench drain
Embodiments have an accessory rail along the length of each side of a trench drain channel. The accessory rib allows the convenient attachment of accessories to the sides of a channel in order to facilitate the installation of a trench drain, place drain outlets at any convenient place on a channel, and to create right angle joints between two trench drains.
Two level stormwater channel
A method and apparatus for combined conveyance, detention, and infiltration of stormwater runoff.
Tile floor drain
A tile drain and method of installing a tile drain is provided. The tile drain includes a drain body and a drain cover. The drain body defines a top opening, top weep apertures, and bottom weep apertures. The top opening receives the drain cover and serves as the primary drain for the tile drain. The top weep apertures are positioned below a top layer, such as a tile layer, of the base so as to receive fluid positioned between the top layer and a top waterproofing layer of the base. The sub weep apertures are positioned below the top waterproofing layer of the base so as to receive fluid positioned between the top waterproofing layer and a bottom waterproofing layer of the base. The drain body is encapsulated within the base, but the drain cover is adjustable relative to, and removable from, the drain body.
Trench Drain Connection Interface
A trench drain connection interface for connecting a first trench drain to a second trench drain. The trench drain connection interface comprises a male end, a female end, and at least one protrusion. The male end of the first trench drain has a flange. The female end of the second trench drain has a flange-receiving recess. The at least one protrusion is on at least one of the male end and the female end. The male end of the first trench drain is configured to engage the female end of the second trench drain and when the male end engages the female end, the at least one protrusion prevents at least a portion of the flange from contacting an inner surface of the flange-receiving recess, thereby providing clearance between the flange and the inner surface of the flange-receiving recess.
Trench Drain Bridge and Clip Attachment for the Same
A trench drain assembly includes a cross-bar that can swivel into arcuate guides in the sidewalls of the trench drain assembly and a grate clip assembly for reversibly attaching a grate to a cross-bar, whether of the swivel in type described herein or a cross-bar of a different style.
Linear drain having adjustable length
An elongate linear drain for a shower includes an elongate, channel-shaped drain body, an elongate, channel-shaped extension that is connectable to either end of the drain body, elongate inserts that are nested within the drain body and the extension, and end walls that cap the ends of the drain body and the ends of the extension. Mounting members are formed along an outboard side of each sidewall of the drain body and the extensions and the mounting members are engaged by float sticks to facilitate the sloping of the floor that leads to the linear drain. Height adjustment screws formed in the respective bottom walls of the drain body and extensions enable height adjustment of the inserts. This enables the tile that overlies the shower floor to be flush with the tile that overlies the insert.
