The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a sewage pipe element comprising a plastics lining, the method comprising the following steps: providing a mould 2 for manufacturing the sewage pipe element, comprising a first sleeve 22 and a plastics element 20; introducing a concrete into the mould 2; attaching a second sleeve 28; demoulding the sewage pipe element; the first sleeve 22 being connected to the plastics element 20 and the plastics element 20 being connected to the second sleeve 28 in a fluid-tight manner in each case and forming at least part of the plastics lining.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MAKING AND APPLYING A NON-PORTLAND CEMENT-BASED MATERIAL
A system and method for applying a construction material is provided. The method may include mixing blast furnace slag material, geopolymer material, alkali-based powder, and sand at a batching and mixing device to generate a non-Portland cement-based material. The method may also include transporting the non-Portland cement-based material from the mixing device, through a conduit to a nozzle and combining the transported non-Portland cement-based material with liquid at the nozzle to generate a partially liquefied non-Portland cement-based material. The method may further include pneumatically applying the partially liquefied non-Portland cement-based material to a surface.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MAKING AND APPLYING A NON-PORTLAND CEMENT-BASED MATERIAL
A system and method for applying a construction material is provided. The system may include a batching and mixing device configured to mix blast furnace slag material, geopolymer material, alkali-based powder, and sand to generate a non-Portland cement-based material, the non-Portland cement-based material including 4% to 45% geopolymer material by weight; greater than 0% to 40% blast furnace slag material by weight, 10% to 45% alkali by weight, 20% to 90% sand by weight, less than 1% sulfate by weight, and/or no more than 5% calcium oxide by weight; a conduit configured to transport the non-Portland cement-based material from the batching and mixing device; and a nozzle configured to receive the non-Portland cement-based material and combine the transported non-Portland cement-based material with liquid to generate a partially liquefied non-Portland cement-based material, wherein the nozzle is further configured to pneumatically apply the partially liquefied non-Portland cement-based material to a surface.
System and Method for Making and Applying a Non-Portland Cement-Based Material
A system and method for applying a construction material is provided. The method may include mixing one or more of 4%-45% volcanic rock by weight, greater than 0%-40% latent hydraulic material by weight, 10%-45% alkaline component by weight, and 20%-90% aggregate by weight to produce a dry binding agent mixture, using a dry mixer; and combining the dry binding agent mixture with water at a nozzle to produce a sprayable concrete compound.
Method and apparatus for repairing main and lateral pipes
A method and apparatus for repairing a pipe system including a main pipe extending between a first and second manhole and one or more lateral pipes extending from the main pipe is provided. Aspects of the invention include the use of a main liner member having a plurality of lateral liner tubes in fluid connection and extending from the main liner member. The main liner member is used to line a main pipe, while the multiple lateral liner tubes extend into separate lateral pipes extending in various orientations from the main pipe. This method and apparatus provides for a single assembly to be able to line multiple pipes, which reduces time and cost for pipe repair.
Sewer hose liner and related methods
This invention relates to a disposable sewer hose liner that may be used to line the inside of a sewer hose for recreational vehicles, trailers, and mobile homes. The disposable sewer hose liner provides a more sanitary method of disposing sewage and waste water from an RV, trailer, or mobile home and reduces the odor emanating from a sewer hose, the amount of cleaning necessary, and the amount of bacteria or waste that a user comes in contact with when interacting with a sewer hose.
Nondestructive pipe refurbishment using liner pipe sections
Techniques for refurbishing an existing host pipe, useful in deployments in confined spaces or providing limited access to the host pipe. In currently preferred embodiments, a plurality of cartridges each include (1) a liner pipe section, (2) at least one rod and (3) at least one centering ball, wherein each rod and centering ball is received inside its corresponding liner pipe section such that each rod is stabilized within its corresponding liner pipe section via contact between at least one centering ball and the liner pipe section. Once the first cartridge is inserted into the host pipe, a second cartridge is concatenated to the first by connection of their respective rods and liner pipe sections. The second cartridge is inserted into the host pipe, and so on. Upon completion, the rods and centering balls may be withdrawn from the concatenated string of liner pipe sections.
Grooved Sealing Member for Sealing Pipes and Other Underground Structures and Method of Using
An apparatus and method is provided for repairing an underground structure such as a pipe or manhole. The apparatus includes a liner assembly made of resin absorbent material. Some embodiments may further include a bladder assembly to help position the liner and press the liner against the walls of the underground structure. A sealing member is positioned in the underground structure. In some embodiments the sealing member is a separate member made from a compressible material, an absorbent material, or a hydrophilic or hydrophobic material. In other embodiments the sealing member is a portion of the liner assembly. The sealing member includes one or more channels adapted to receive a semi-liquid such as a hydrophilic or hydrophobic paste or grout. The semi-liquid is capable of swelling in response to being exposed to another liquid, such as water, and forms a seal between the liner assembly and the host pipe/manhole.
Pipe repair
The present disclosure relates to a method for repairing a partially collapsed pipe. The method comprises fitting a mesh stent around the outside of an actuation assembly of a pipe repair apparatus, and positioning the pipe repair apparatus within a portion of the pipe, at least a part of the portion of the pipe being partially collapsed. The method also comprises causing actuation between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration such that the partially collapsed part of the pipe changes from a partially collapsed form towards a non-collapsed form. The method also comprises removing the pipe repair apparatus from the pipe and leaving the mesh stent in the portion of the pipe.
Expander with accessories to adjust nominal size
An expander, preferably for use in expanding a host pipe to be refurbished. A floating pad is disposed to be displaced relative to a chassis by at least one retractable and extendable piston such that the expander has a first expansion range between fully-retracted and fully-extended states. A floating pad jacket and a chassis jacket are disposed to be removably attached to the floating pad and chassis, such that the floating pad jacket increases the first expansion range of the expander to a second expansion range when the floating pad jacket is attached to the floating pad, and the chassis jacket increases the first expansion range of the expander to a third expansion range when the chassis jacket is attached to the chassis. At least one piston may be configured to be extended and retracted independently.
