A BAFFLE FOR A SEPARATOR
A baffle for a separator having a cylindrical chamber include a plurality of baffle components arranged in series at least part way around an axis, wherein each of the plurality of baffle components comprises a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion, wherein the first connecting portion of each of the plurality of baffle components is connectable to the first or second connecting portion of a respective first adjacent baffle component of the plurality of baffle components, wherein the second connecting portion of each of the plurality of baffle components is connectable to the first or second connecting portion of a respective second adjacent baffle component of the plurality of baffle components, wherein at least one of the baffle components comprises a vane angled with respect to the axis so as to impede the passage of fluid past the baffle in a direction parallel to the axis.
Trash collector for drainage channels
Disclosed is a trash collector for drainage channels. The trash collector includes a main frame provided with engaged parts engaged with engaging protrusions of an inlet of a drainage channel and a penetration part having one side vertically penetrated, an opening and closing plate mounted in the penetration part so as to selectively open and close the penetration part depending on a load of water introduced through the inlet of the drainage channel, and a hinge shaft interposed between the main frame and the opening and closing plate so as to axially rotate the opening and closing plate. A base plate of the main frame and the opening and closing plate have a designated height so that fallen leaves and road trash accumulated and gathered on the base plate and the opening and closing plate may be sufficiently suctioned by suction force of a street cleaning vehicle.
CATCH BASIN SYSTEM AND CORRESPONDING WATER DRAINAGE SYSTEM
A catch basin system includes a first conduit, a second conduit, a basin, and an access port. The first and second conduits are spaced-apart and are aligned along a first axis. The basin is disposed between the first and second conduits. The basin extends downward from the first and second conduits. The access port is aligned along a second axis, is disposed above the basin, is disposed between the first and second conduits, and extends upward from the first and second conduits. The access port is configured to provide access to the basin.
Method for temporarily closing off a gutter being covered by a grate of a paved part of the earth's surface; as well as a closing organ for a gutter
A grate (111)-covered gutter (110) of a paved part of the earth's surface (100) is temporarily closed off by means of a closing organ (130), the gutter (110) being connected to a sewage pipe (120). Thus, the draining away of contaminating liquid can be prevented. The closing organ (130) includes a valve (131 fitted rotatably in the gutter (110). The valve (131) can be in a first stable position wherein the valve (131) seals. The valve can also be in a second stable position in which the valve (131) releases the gutter (110) for the discharge of liquid (rainwater) to the sewage pipe.
Trench Drain Bridge and Clip Attachment for the Same
A trench drain assembly includes a cross-bar that can swivel into arcuate guides in the sidewalls of the trench drain assembly and a grate clip assembly for reversibly attaching a grate to a cross-bar, whether of the swivel in type described herein or a cross-bar of a different style.
Device for blocking a passage
A removable obturation device is provided for transversely obstructing a passage delimited by a cylindrical side wall wherein it includes: a) a support and blocking element having a central block supporting a plurality of arms disposed perpendicularly in a radial position with respect to the longitudinal axis of the block and of the side wall, each arm having an extensible rod including a pad intended to be blocked against one the side wall, and b) at least one complementary obturation element extending in a radial transverse plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, at least partly in or opposite the space between the arms so as to prevent an individual from falling through the passage. The obstruction element is preferably removably fastened to the support and blocking element.
LINEAR DRAIN ASSEMBLY
A linear drain system that is configurable and adaptable on-site. The system includes an outlet section that is coupleable to a drain line of an existing plumbing system. The outlet section includes a pair of engagement flanges to which elongate channels are coupleable. The channels are easily cut to desired lengths on-site using hand tools or common power tools. Endcaps are coupled to terminal ends of the channels to form a trough. A strainer or a tile-ready strainer is provided for insertion into the trough. The strainer/tile-ready strainer are easily cut to length on-site as needed. A construction cover is provided that is disposable into the trough alone or overlying the strainer/tile-ready strainer to resist entrance of debris into the trough. The outlet section and channels include a longitudinal V-shaped canal.
GRATING FRAME ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
A grate frame assembly including an embed grate frame and an anchor which is installed on the embed grate frame onsite without tools or welding. The embed grate frame includes a main body, a protrusion, and a leg. The anchor has a body with a support end and an attachment end. The attachment end is selectively engaged with the protrusion. The leg of the embed grate frame is configured to engage a concrete form. The support end of the installed anchor contacts a wall located a distance from the concrete form. Together, the anchor and the leg on the embed grate frame hold the main body in place so that a compound material can be poured into a free space defined between the wall and the concrete form. The compound material secures the embed grate frame into a surface such as a sidewalk or road.
Drain element
The invention relates to a drain element formed of a hydrophilic coherent man-made vitreous fiber substrate (MMVF substrate), wherein the MMVF substrate comprises man-made vitreous fibers bonded with a cured binder composition, the MMVF substrate having opposed first and second ends and a passage which extends from a first opening in the first end to a second opening in the second end.
Soil erosion protection device for use with catch basins
A portable erosion protection device for use in conjunction with a catch basin is provided. The protection device includes an open base and a perforated wall structure extending upwardly and inwardly to form a pyramid-shaped structure. The base is designed to be mounted on or seated on an upper portion of the catch basin.
