LEAKAGE DETECTOR SYSTEM
The present invention describes a leakage detector system (1) comprising a sensor unit (2), said sensor unit (2) comprising a moisture sensor (20) and a transmitter, said leakage detector system also comprising an enclosing material 3 embedding the sensor unit (2).
Floor drain
A drain floor, including a drain base, a drain body including a cavity, a drain cup, a supporting frame; and a reset member. The drain cup includes a cup body, a stem, and a base. The cup body includes a through hole, and two ends of the stem are connected to the cup body and the base, respectively. The cup body is disposed in the cavity and the base is disposed out of the cavity. The space between the drain body and the drain cup forms an annular channel, and the annular channel communicates with the through hole. The annular channel includes a water inlet and a water outlet. The reset member is connected to the drain cup and is movable with respect to the drain cup to open and close the water outlet. The supporting frame connects the drain body and the reset member.
Combination of a cover plate and a drain and use of such combination
A combination of a cover plate and a drain, preferably a floor drain is described. The cover plate is provided with first locking means and the drain is provided with cooperating second locking means for releasable connection of the cover plate to the floor drain. The cover plate is a temporary cover plate for use during installation of the drain. The cover plate may be used for a temporary protection of a drain during installation of the drain and for installing and adjusting the inclination of the drain without the need of separate levelling tools. To obtain this the cover plate is provided with levelling means for determining the orientation of the cover plate and thereby also the drain in relation to a horizontal or a vertical plane. The first locking means or the second locking means comprises a weakening arranged such that at least a part of the locking means is preferably damaged when the cover plate is removed from the drain to ensure that the cover is not reused.
Modular drain assembly for pod constructed room
A modular room includes a floor having an upper surface, and a lower surface. The floor defines a floor height between the upper surface and the lower surface, and the floor defines a through aperture. At least three walls have a lower end connected to the floor and an upper end extend away from the floor, a ceiling is connected to the upper end of the walls, and a drain body is positioned in the floor aperture. The drain body has an upper surface and a lower surface and defines a drain body height between the upper and lower surfaces. The drain body height is less than the floor height, such that the drain body does not extend above the upper surface of the floor or below the lower surface of the flow while the drain body is positioned in the aperture in the floor.
FAST INSTALLATION CAP AND DRAIN
An elongated floor cleanout assembly includes a drain assembly. The drain assembly has a body assembly and a grating cover secured to the body assembly by at least one screw. The drain assembly also has a cap enclosing the drain assembly and secured to the grating cover by the at least one screw. The cap defines at least one slit having an arcuate portion and an end. The at least one screw is captured in the arcuate portion and the cap can be rotated to selectively allow the at least one screw to freely pass through the end for removal of the cap without removing the at least one screw.
METHOD OF PROVIDING A PIPE PASSAGEWAY THROUGH A CONCRETE SLAB
A method of providing a drain pipe passageway through a concrete slab wherein a plastic pipe of predetermined diameter, which is greater than the underlying drain pipe, is positioned in an upright manner within a location of a concrete slab to be poured. Concrete is poured around the pipe to a desired level leaving a portion of the pipe exposed above this level, and the concrete is permitted to solidify. Thereafter the exposed portion of the pipe is cut off leaving an upper opening of the pipe flush with the upper surface of the concrete slab. The upper opening of the pipe is closed off with a plastic cap and a passageway of predetermined diameter, which is smaller than the pipe diameter, is drilled through the cap at a newly calculated position of alignment, and a plastic pipe having an outside diameter which will mate with this smaller diameter of the passageway is inserted through the cap passageway and cemented in position.
SUMP OVERFLOW PROTECTOR
A sump overflow protection system for use in a building having a floor and a drainage field for collecting water from the perimeter of the building. The sump overflow protection system includes a portion of the floor proximal an opening of a sump crock having a first level defining a base and wherein the rest of the bottom floor generally has a second level higher than the first level of the basin surface of the floor and communicates water overflowing the sump crock to an outlet coupled to a building drainage outlet separate from the sump crock and to be located in the basin surface of the floor and spaced a predetermined distance from the sump crock.
DRAIN SYSTEM WITH A SEAL COMPONENT
A drain system includes a drain body attachable to a subfloor and configured for attachment to a pipe member below the subfloor. A seal component is positionable between the drain body and the pipe member and is arranged to form a seal therebetween. The seal component has a body including open upper and lower ends defining an opening therethrough for receiving a portion of the pipe member. An outer surface of the body defines an interface between the seal component and the drain body arranged to permit a first angular movement between the seal component and the drain body. An inner surface defines an interface between the seal component and the pipe member and is arranged to seal and permit a second angular movement between the seal component and the pipe member, wherein the second angular movement is different than the first angular movement.
Filtering drain cover
A two-stage filtering drain cover that can be retrofitted to an existing, original construction, areaway drain cover. The filtering drain cover of the invention inhibits the accumulation of debris on the existing drain cover, and passage of debris into the drain, and helps to prevent clogs and flooding. The outer cover member of the device is configured with passages that permit liquid flow through the outer cover while filtering larger size debris particles that may be entrained in the passing liquid. A perimeter wall on the outer cover and with similar liquid flow passages stops larger debris from passing the outer cover. An inner filter member fits within the outer cover and is configured with relatively smaller passages to obstruct smaller sized debris that may have penetrated the outer cover from passing into the drain.
WATERLESS FLOOR DRAIN TRAP VALVE
A Waterless Floor Drain Trap Valve is provided as a drain line backup to withstand the pressure from water/sewage reversing direction and flowing into the occupied space of the building. The Waterless Floor Drain Trap Valve comprises an inlet end with a recessed opening comprising a grate (or disk) to direct water flow, wherein the edge along the top surface of the grate (or disk) is flushed with the top surface of the inlet end, a top cover, an opposite outlet end with a bottom cover and an expandable outer seal positioned between the top and bottom cover, a fastener positioned proximate to the top cover, a threaded rod connected to a backflow preventer plate, a backflow plate spring along with a backflow preventer seal in connection with the bottom cover. During usage, as the nut on the top of the Valve is tightened, the expandable outer seal forms a plurality of seal points within the inside diameter of the floor drainpipe while almost simultaneously the bottom cover travels in an upward direction further compressing the expandable outer seal and providing robust sealing to prevent backflow into the living space. The Waterless Floor Drain Trap Valve is further configured to connect remotely to various diagnostic devices, mobile platforms and applications for real-time monitoring of the valve performance. The smart Valve comprises a first sensor and a second sensor disposed within the Valve and configured to deliver an improved backflow management system for consumers.
