FLOOR SINK
A floor sink configured to be installed in a support surface includes a body including a first end, and a second end opposite the first end and configured to receive a pipe. The floor sink further includes a cavity extending through the body, and a flange coupled to the first end of the body and extending away from the cavity. The flange is configured to engage the support surface.
Hair cutting assembly and related floor drain
Provided is a hair cutting assembly. The hair cutting assembly includes at least one first shearing wheel, first transmission shaft that drives the first shearing wheel to rotate, at least one second shearing wheel and second transmission shaft that drives the second shearing wheel to rotate. Opposite end surfaces of each first shearing wheel and the corresponding second shearing wheel are attached to each other. The first cutting blades, formed by intersecting end surface of the first shearing wheel with side wall, and the second cutting blades, formed by intersecting end surface of the second shearing wheel with side wall, oppositely move in a feed direction, such that long and thin linear sundries such as hairs and fabrics can be continuously shorn. A floor drain with the hair cutting assembly is also provided.
Trench drain providing variable drain location and installation
A trench drain apparatus includes a trench body and an insert that can be assembled to the trench body to adjustably locate a trench drain hole in the insert relative to a footprint of the trench body. This allows adjustment of the trench drain hole at the installation site, yet takes advantage of pre-manufactured components. An upper surface of the trench body may receive an optional waterproof membrane clamped onto the sealing surface by a clamp ring. The insert can be rotated 180 degrees prior to installation to provide two different drain hole locations, or can be cut on site at one or both ends so that the drain hole ends up at desired location optimally matching a pre-existing drainage pipe opening. Methods related to the above are also provided, including adjusting the insert to locate the trench drain hole at an optimal location.
Restroom System
A restroom system includes a sanitation station configured for hand washing and a waste station configured to receive a waste material from a user. A suds mixture is flowable through the sanitation station and the waste station and is configured for hand washing and to receive the waste material. The suds mixture includes a fluid layer and a suds layer positionable between the fluid layer and the user so that when the suds mixture receives the waste material the suds layer changes from an original shape to absorb energy and allow passage of the waste material through the suds layer into the fluid layer and then returns toward the original shape to form a protective barrier between the user and the waste material in the fluid layer.
FILTERING DRAIN COVER
A two-stage filtering drain cover that can be retrofitted to an existing, original construction, areaway drain cover. The filtering drain cover of the invention inhibits the accumulation of debris on the existing drain cover, and passage of debris into the drain, and helps to prevent clogs and flooding. The outer cover member of the device is configured with passages that permit liquid flow through the outer cover while filtering larger size debris particles that may be entrained in the passing liquid. A perimeter wall on the outer cover and with similar liquid flow passages stops larger debris from passing the outer cover. An inner filter member fits within the outer cover and is configured with relatively smaller passages to obstruct smaller sized debris that may have penetrated the outer cover from passing into the drain.
LIGATURE RESISTANT STRAINER AND DRAIN ASSEMBLY
A ligature resistant strainer for a drain assembly and connecting to a drain system. The strainer includes a grate and an extension block coupled to the grate. The grate defines a first thickness, and the extension block defines a second thickness that is greater than the first thickness. Portions of the grate cooperate with portions of the extension block to define a plurality of apertures extending through the strainer and inhibiting attachment of a ligature to the strainer.
Floor drain
A floor drain and method of manufacture is described. The drain assembly includes a transverse bar in the throat of the drain base. The bar supports a substantially vertical, elongated connecting member or fastener to the strainer flush with the floor, and acts to transfer any vertical downward forces to the side wall of the drain base. The drain assembly may be milled from a single piece of metal and include an integral no hub for greater structural integrity.
FLOOD PREVENTION SYSTEM
Provided herein are embodiments of a flood prevention system. The flood prevention system may include a water line, a sewer line, and at least one floating switch sensor. The water line and sewer line may be connected to a plumbing fixture. The floating switch sensor may be installed within the sewer line and be connected to a solenoid valve.
COMBINATION OF A COVER PLATE AND A DRAIN AND USE OF SUCH COMBINATION
A combination of a cover plate and a drain, preferably a floor drain is described. The cover plate is provided with first locking means and the drain is provided with cooperating second locking means for releasable connection of the cover plate to the floor drain. The cover plate is a temporary cover plate for use during installation of the drain. The cover plate may be used for a temporary protection of a drain during installation of the drain and for installing and adjusting the inclination of the drain without the need of separate levelling tools. To obtain this the cover plate is provided with levelling means for determining the orientation of the cover plate and thereby also the drain in relation to a horizontal or a vertical plane. The first locking means or the second locking means comprises a weakening arranged such that at least a part of the locking means is preferably damaged when the cover plate is removed from the drain to ensure that the cover is not reused.
Floor Drain Vapour Block Apparatus and Methiod for Using Same
A floor drain vapour block apparatus and method for providing a dependable water level in the vapour block to prevent backflow gases or odours from infiltrating into the area above the floor drain. The apparatus is a two-part assembly having an outer reservoir housing and an inner drain catch cylinder forming a water sealing reservoir space for holding or retaining a plumbing code enforced water level to block gases and odours from infiltrating above the floor level in which the assembly is inserted.
